Unibright, Provide to Create First ‘Baselined’ Blockchain Toolset

Blockchain innovator Unibright recently announced that it had collaborated with Provide Technologies. Together they aim to create an enterprise benchmark for a user-friendly simple DevOps experience for the blockchain application lifecycle.

According to the announcement, both companies were working closely together on launching an innovative blockchain toolset. This would effectively eliminate the current complexity of the blockchain application lifecycle. Moreover, it would help in creating safer baselined ecosystem-sized solutions.

The partnership will utilize the Baseline Protocol Initiative by OASIS, which mixes advances in cryptography, messaging, and blockchain. The protocol is especially significant as it provides secure and private business mechanisms at low cost via the Ethereum Mainnet.

Marten Jung, founder and CEO of Unibright pointed out that enterprises aways faced hurdles with the early adoption of emerging technologies. This was especially because such technologies came with the challenges of complexity and scale.

“Our work with Provide will help eliminate complexity from the blockchain application lifecycle and build baselined ecosystem sized solutions that are substantially safer than their predecessors. The availability of these tools and standards is a huge milestone for enterprise adoption of blockchain technology we are all very much looking forward to,” he added.

Unibright to enable business processes

According to the announcement, Unibright’s side of the project will support business processes. Using the company’s Unibright Workflow Designer, it would be easy to provide dedicated, visually customizable templates.

Unibright’s framework will also generate all necessary objects such as contracts, connection adaptors, and mappings. Provide’s orchestration services would then help deploy them thereby resulting in an automatic generation of RESTful APIs. Moreover, the collaboration would facilitate core services for key management, identity, payments, etc. It would also secure messaging through Provide’s blockchain integration fabric, Shuttle.

Kyle Thomas, founder and CEO of Provide Technologies said; “Unibright and Provide share the vision to help organizations. Help them get to market faster with blockchain-based solutions.”

He noted that the collaboration with Unibright to baseline SAP and Microsoft Dynamics revealed how complimentary Provide’s tools were to execute that shared vision. He added, “the combined capabilities of our respective offerings will unlock an extraordinary amount of productivity and ecosystem benefits for organizations of all sizes.”

Other developments

In a related development, Unibright had recently launched an all-in-one security token offering tool Freequity. It also came out with an overview of what to expect on its platform. Earlier, the blockchain platform had disclosed details on the Technical Steering Committee (TSC) as well as, its role and what “baselining” represented.

Previously, the platform had announced that it would be joining the Libra camp, the virtual boot camp for startups to build apps on the Libra blockchain.
