These two exchanges are among the world’s most renowned and widely used digital currency exchanges. Expressing support for USDT-TRON airdrop simply means that Poloniex and KuCoin users can benefit from the much-awaited airdrop.
Announcements were made by both crypto exchanges through their respective blogs as the airdrop will commence today, 15th July 2019. The giveaway is planned by TRON China’s partner, Raybo Technology, and will last for 30 days, ending on 15th August. The 30 million dollars incentive plan is meant to reward holders of Tether’s TRC20 based USDT tokens.

According to Poloniex’s official blog, Poloniex will convert a certain percent of Tether that is on the network of Omni to Tether on TRON’s network. The number of converted USDT will determine the amount receivable from the airdrop. When the airdrop commences, consumers of Poloniex exchange will be receiving their airdrop bonus based on their Tether holdings on Poloniex.
The exchange will also be supporting three networks including Tron, Omni, and Eth. Reports from KuCoin stated that users will be allowed to convert their holdings of USDT to TRC20 based USDT tokens in order to be eligible to receive the TRON airdrop rewards. The coin is also offering its users four options of lock-ins, details are listed in their official blog post.
