HTC is releasing a new version of the blockchain smartphone, Exodus 1. It will support Binance and is available for purchase soon.

The company has made an announcement that it will launch an Exodus 1 smartphone. The device will support the Binance exchange and the token. As per the news, support for Binance Chain in Zion Vault wallet will be added to Exodus 1 Binance version. In fact, it will open straight access to Binance DEX through the phone.

“Smartphones will play a key role in the mass adoption of crypto and smartphones are the most natural devices for a hardware wallet that is simple to use and always with you,” said Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance. “Crypto, on the other hand, will make every smartphone both a POS terminal and payment device, cutting out most other middlemen.

The crypto phone will be available on the HTC Exodus site. The first hundred buyers will get $100 in BNB as a reward.

HTC Exodus 1 Binance Edition will cost $599. In Europe, the device will be offered for 649 euros.

Smartphones and blockchain

Taiwanese HTC was the first developer and producer of a specialized phone for cryptocurrency holders on the market.  HTC Exodus 1 was launched at the end of October 2018.

The Finney smartphone also lays claim to be the first blockchain phone. Sirin Labs is the creator of this device. In 2017, it raised about $ 157 million in ICOs for Finney. And device sales began late last year.

But they are not alone.

LG is going to release Galaxy Note 10 smartphone shortly. It will come with a Keystore wallet and Bapp support.

Another blockchain phone project belongs to two other Korean corporations: Samsung and Kakao. They have just released release KlaytnPhone.
