Announced via an official blog post by LATOKEN, the partnership will be a step towards launching Tron as the Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) payments token.

TRON Becomes LATOKEN’s IEO Payment Token

The partnership will inherently induce fundraising opportunities to facilitate new projects, TRX will therefore be listed among other existing IEO payment currencies.

According to the exchange, three of TRON’S trading pairs with BITCOIN, ETHEREUM and TETHER (TRX/BTC, TRX/ETH, TRX/USDT) will be listed. This was communicated by the Chief Executive Officer of Tron and BitTorrent, Justin Sun, via Twitter:

“#TRON trading market is available on @latokens, #TRONICS can trade TRX/BTC, TRX/USDT, TRX/ETH now.“

Zeux token sale was the first IEO on the exchange to accept a contribution in TRX. It was launched on 7th June and so far they have raised over 2,500 ETH through the IEO and earlier sales.

The Chief Executive Officer of LAToken,  Valentin Preobrazhenskiy, expressed his delight at the partnership while pointing out that it was in accordance with the company’s mission to embrace an investor-entrepreneur connection.

According to the exchange’s CEO, this partnership was expected to indeed usher in a new era of opportunities, expansion and growth for both parties.

Commenting on the partnership, Preobrazhenskiy pointed out that this move is set to bridge the gap between crypto investors and entrepreneurs by proving more open ways for investments.

“We are glad to partner with TRON and start supporting TRX as payment currency. That is perfectly in line with our mission to connect investors with entrepreneurs. We will make simpler to contribute and fundraise for TRON users.”

Tron is constantly making improvements and it was recently added to Math Wallet’s portfolio which was preceded by the crytocurrency’s partnership with renowned security firm, CertiK, for increasing the integrity of its blockchain.
