So, let’s take a look at what the Binance.US Crypto Box is all about. Below you can find a short video about this new feature, Crypto Box.
What Is Crypto Box?
Crypto Box is an addition to the Binance.US Pay feature. It allows you to gift crypto in an easy and convenient way. You can gift to only one person or many people at the same time. It’s currently only available on the Binance.US mobile app. A web version is in the pipeline, so keep an eye out for this.
To set up a Crypto Box, you can choose from over 150 different cryptocurrencies. You can also select if you want to send crypto to 1 or more people. Furthermore, once you have funded the Crypto Box, you can select to give a random or an equal amount to the receivers. The Pay feature already has three options, sending, requesting, and receiving digital assets. Now Binance.US added a fourth option, with the Crypto Box. This feature will be available all year round. However, it has an extra appeal over the holiday season.
One of the upcoming options for the Box will be that you can select a different design. This can either mark a special occasion or season or make an everyday moment more special.
Some extra features are, for example,
- No need for adding a deposit or withdrawal address.
- You don’t have to pay gas fees.
- There’s no need to wait for the transaction to go through.

Features of the Crypto Box
So, as we can see, the Crypto Box is an interesting and useful addition to the Pay feature. It brings some appealing features to the table as well. So, let’s recap those features. For instance,
- You can choose from the 150 cryptocurrencies that Binance.US supports.
- You can determine the amount of crypto you like to send.
- The number of recipients is also free to select. For example, you can select $20 to 4 people. Each gets $5 in the ‘Identical’ setting, or you can randomize it.
- After you complete your Crypto Box, you receive a unique URL and code. You can share the URL on social media with your friends or family. However, make sure you send the code in a private message or DM. If somebody can get his or her hands on the code, your gift may end up with the wrong people.
- The max limit of gifts is $5,000, and you can add up to 100 people as recipients.
- And best of all, there are no transaction fees.
