CoinGecko Hits Top 500 Most Viewed Websites

Cryptocurrency price and information data aggregation website CoinGecko is now one of the top 500 most viewed websites in the world, according to Alexa.

According to the announcement, CoinGecko, which provides an in-depth analysis of the crypto market, currently sits at number 470 on the list of most visited websites in the world.

Launched in in 2014 by Bobby Ong and TM Lee, the digital assets data aggregation website has since witnessed immense growth in its mission to increase crypto users’ knowledge of basic factors and components that drive the crypto market.

Reacting to the new achievement, CoinGecko’s COO Bobby Ong said, via his Twitter account, that he never thought the platform could have achieved such a feat in such a period.

“Top 500 website in the world! Never in my wildest dream did I imagine that this could happen! 🚀 alexa.com/siteinfo/coing…,” he tweeted.

Similarly, CoinGecko co-founder TM Lee revealed his amazement with the growth of the aggregator website. He further noted that the duo still intend to pursue and unveil more unique features.

“It’s great seeing this! Likewise never did I thought we would even come to this. Even then, there’re still a lots more that we want to do and build🔥,” he said.
