On August 20th, Bittrex will add USD pairings for ETC and XRP. This adds to their fiat listings of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), and TrueUSD (TUSD).
On August 20th Bittrex will add USD pairings for Ethereum Classic (ETC) and Ripple (XRP). In the past few months, Bittrex has also added Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), and TrueUSD (TUSD) for corporate customers in Washington, California, New York, and Montana. As time goes on, they expect to allow retail investors to join in on the USD pairings.
“We’re going to continue implementing these phases until all qualified customers are included, and we’re making good progress. For example, at launch, we started with only corporate customers, and only two weeks later, we’re beginning to methodically add batches of retail customers. During these initial phases, we’re inviting participants who reside in Washington State, California, New York and Montana as well as qualified international regions. Don’t worry, as we roll out future phases, more states will be added. So, please continue to be patient as we roll out these phases over time. According to the company they expect to expand their fiat pairings to other coins. In the past year, Bittrex went from arguably the best exchange to being kind of forgotten due to the emergence of Binance. During this year however, they have revamped their website and delisted many coins with low volume.
