Enjin, Binance U.S. , Tomochain

Binance.US, the American arm of the Binance exchange, is exploring the addition of new coins.

Great news for those who love Enjin, Tomochain, Tron, Decred, Ontology and many other cryptocurrencies. In its fresh announcement, Binance.US said that is considering adding the following projects (in alphabetical order):

  • Celer Network (CELR)
  • Decred (DCR)
  • Enjin (ENJ)
  • Fantom (FTM)
  • Icon (ICX)
  • IOS Token (IOST)
  • Komodo (KMD)
  • OmiseGo (OMG)
  • Harmony (ONE)
  • Ontology (ONT)
  • Ren (REN)
  • Status (SNT)
  • Theta Network (THETA)
  • Tomochain (TOMO)
  • Tron (TRX)
  • NEM (XEM)
  • Tezos (XTZ)
  • Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR)

The exchange, however, notes that it is too early to jump to any conclusions regarding potential listing. After all, it is still in the process of simply reviewing these coins.

It notes, “Our priority to continue exploring more digital asset listings for our users runs in parallel to our efforts to deliver a mobile application and more access to new states we currently do not operate.”

If added, this collection of coins will complement the 24 existing offerings, including Bitcoin, XRP, Ravencoin, Basic Attention Token etc

Tomo couldn’t be happier about it

In a tweet, Tomo couldn’t help but share the news. The company seems to be excited about Binance.US’s decision to examine its potential. It also calls other blockchain projects “noble”. And admits that it would love to be added to the exchange.

Interestingly, however, the fact that both Tomochain and Long Vuong, its CEO, decided to retweet Binance.US’s release, has not been welcomed by all. For instance, a user that goes by the name @CrytoArbitrage doubted the smartness of the move. And added, “TOMO is one of two world-class projects based in Vietnam. I am based there, there are many others, but these are my favs. Speculation about Binance listings is not a good look.”

Others pointed out that since Binance.US itself announced that it was looking into these coins, talks about speculation are rather unsubstantiated.

ENJ and Binance are cozying up to each other

The news that Binance US is considering adding Enjin comes at a time when the two companies are clearly enjoying a productive collaboration. Just recently Altcoin Buzz reported that Binance is preparing to bear gifts in the forms of NFTs.

So if you are into collecting, be sure to find out how to do it via this link. At the same time, check if your wallet is “ERC-1155 compatible wallet’s ETH deposit address.” Otherwise, as Binance itself warns, “you will be unable to receive the NFT.”

What’s noteworthy is that Binance will launch new year collectibles minted by Enjin as noted by @emailshashwat.

To that end, it’s also important to remind that recently Enjin also started a collaboration with Microsoft, which led to a dramatic increase in its price.

Decred project is going good. So is Binance US

Commenting on another potential addition to Binance.US, Decred Project, it’s worth stating that this blockchain project has received some positive comments lately. Specifically, Cryptodiffer.com has listed it among the top 15 blockchain projects, (November 2019) stating that it has experienced substantial growth. Digibyte, which has been in the spotlight due to its battle with Poloniex, was the only coin to show a better performance. However, right now Binance.US does not seem to be interested in adding it.

On a final note, it should be stressed that since its launch in September 2019, Binance US has been able to sustain good results. Unlike Huobi US, which has closed the shop due to the venture’s unprofitability.
