Online crypto booking travel agency TravelbyBit has announced the integration of Expedia’s hotel list to its booking inventory.
Now Expedia’s over 600,000 hotels are available for booking on TravelbyBit. Bringing TravelbyBit total hotel listing to a stupendous 800,000 worldwide. Users can also make payments using digital currency.

Caleb Yeoh pointed out that Expedia is a well-known name in the travel sector. Yeoh is the CEO of Travelbybit. He further added that the hotel booking platform boasts of providing top-notch services to travellers. Also stating that this alliance is a positive step not just for TravelbyBit but the entire crypto space. As it will facilitate crypto adoption, create awareness and more use cases for cryptocurrency.
More use cases for crypto
He said that this partnership will “further the utility and adoption of crypto by increasing the availability of mainstream services and supply”. Also adding that the addition of Expedia’s hotel inventory is a plus not just for the companies but for crypto travellers worldwide.
Alongside booking hotels with crypto, users are also eligible to earn 10% as dividends on every flight or hotel booked for via TravelbyBit. This reward system is however only available to TravelbyBit users. You can learn more about the terms and conditions here.
The online travel agency currently boasts of the largest number of flight and hotel options for users to choose from. All of which can be paid for with cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Launched about two years ago, Travelbybit disclosed that it has processed over 10,000 crypto-based transactions. The platform boasts of a team of certified travel experts all ready to give travellers an extraordinary travel experience. The travel agency announced a partnership with Binance November last year. With the aim to launch a crypto card that will enable crypto payments on prominent travel websites.
