Crypto.com Secures Multi-million Sponsorship Deal With UFC

In another remarkable development for the Crypto.com ecosystem, the top cryptocurrency exchange has secured a multi-million sponsorship deal with the world’s leading mixed martial arts organization, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

Crypto.com announced the new partnership with UFC via an official press release shared with Altcoin Buzz. According to the announcement, UFC as a result of the partnership will place Crypto.com branding on UFC fight kits.

In addition to UFC athletes wearing Crypto.com branding in competitions, the collaboration will give Crypto.com access to UFC broad audiences. UFC cornermen and women will also wear crypto.com branded kit apparel. The exchange will also have its logo displayed on the Octagon during all pay-per-view events and Dana White’s contender series.

Also, a CNBC report disclosed that the sponsorship deal is worth $175 million and will last over 10 years.

Dana White, UFC President, in a statement expressed delight with the new initiative. According to him, the collaboration will give Crypto.com massive exposure while facilitating the growth, and popularity of both companies.

“No company has done more to grow the popularity of combat sports than UFC, and now we’re one of the biggest sports brands on the planet. We can help Crypto.com reach more people around the world through the strength of our brand,” he said.

Crypto.com to Accelerate the World’s Transition to Crypto

Kris Marszalek, co-founder and CEO of Crypto.com, in a statement also expressed his delight with the new partnership. He explained that the collaboration was in line with Crypto.com’s vision of accelerating the world’s transition to cryptocurrency.

Marszalek tagged the partnership as a historic feat that would facilitate the globe’s shift from fiat to digital currency. “This is just the beginning of a long relationship with UFC, and we’re looking forward to what we will build together,” he added.

Ari Emanuel, CEO of Endeavor – the parent company of UFC – in a statement expressed delight with the collaboration. He noted that the UFC is the best-positioned company to benefit from where the entertainment world is going.

It is also worth noting that Crypto.com has been securing several partnerships in the sporting industry. The crypto firm recently partnered with Formula 1, becoming the inaugural partner of the new sprint series for 2021.

Additionally, the exchange recently secured a strategic partnership with Aston Martin Cognizant Formula 1, among other firms.

CRO Price 

The leading cryptocurrency platform’s native CRO token has retreated marginally on the day. According to CoinGecko, CRO is up 0.5% at the time of publication trading at $0.121886.
