Popular fintech and crypto card-issuing platform Crypto.com has announced a partnership with Booking.com, a top travel marketplace, to provide exclusive travel deals to all users of the Crypto.com app.
Announcing this via an official blog post, Crypto.com noted that customers will receive a 25% reduction off all Booking.com advance bookings made using the Crypto.com app.

Additionally, the Hong Kong-based fintech firm disclosed that customers who make travel payments with their Crypto.com Visa debit card stand a chance of getting up to 8% back on their spending.
The above savings are in addition to other great travel rewards offered by using the Crypto.com card. Such rewards include “free and unlimited LoungeKey airport lounge access, free ATM withdrawals worldwide, and no foreign transaction fees.”
Expressing his excitement with the new partnership, Kris Marszalek, Crypto.com’s CEO and co-founder, stated the Booking.com collaboration was the first of many to be unveiled this year.
Marszalek said, “In 2020, our Crypto.com Visa Card program grew to become the most widely available card of its kind, and we know that travel perks are a highly sought-after benefit.”
Marszalek also pointed out that the Crypto.com user base grew incredibly in 2020. He noted that the platform now offers services to more than 5 million users globally.
Booking.com Unique Offerings
Booking.com is an Amsterdam-based online travel agency for making travel and lodging reservations. The agency disclosed some recent statistics. It noted that in the new year, 65% of its users are excited to travel again after the global lockdown of 2020 due to COVID-19.
It also revealed that 62% of its users are expected to be price conscious when picking a destination and making reservations for their next trip.
The travel agency, however, pointed out that in view of the new partnership, Crypto.com’s users will have exclusive access to more than 400,000 discounted properties and over 28 million accommodation listings.
“They can also enjoy seasonal promotions and extend the utility and perks of the Crypto.com Visa Card, ensuring that they have access to the best travel deals,” the statement read.
