According to a press release, Virtual Worlds will commence the production of a limited-edition NFT set depicting historical monuments like the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Great Sphinx of Egypt. Once completed, NFT enthusiasts will be able to own digital replicas of these wonders as well as adorn their virtual homes in Virtual World’s platform with them.

More on the Partnership

The partnership between Enjin (ENJ) and Virtual Worlds is one-of-a-kind. This is because it will be the first-ever collaboration to bring non-fungible tokens to the world of digitized historical landmarks. To some extent, bringing to life interactions with unique, ancient artifacts. Virtual Worlds is known for creating accurate matching digital twins of historical artifacts. It does this by employing Unreal Engine and Enjin, as well as 60K-definition photogrammetry scans.

For now, the partnership will involve treasure hunts where participants can receive NFT artifacts which will be sent to their wallets via Enjin’s smart contracts. The treasure hunts will project a 3D environment rich with artifacts like chariots, sarcophagi, statues, scepters, etc.

Speaking on the partnership, Elliott Mizroch, CEO of Virtual Worlds, revealed that Virtual Worlds was “[…] bringing the world’s most important artifacts and monuments to a new digital ecosystem.” This, in turn, will help preserve these artifacts and make them more accessible globally.

Mizroch further added this move will not be possible without the top-notch support from Enjin. Apart from creating digital replicas of historical artifacts, the partnership will also help “[…] organize virtual events such as concerts and art shows within these virtual environments.” Also, all cross-chain NFTs won during Virtual World’s experience can be easily traded on Enjin marketplaces like JumpNet. Other supported chains include Polkadot, Ethereum, and Efinity.

Maxim Blagov, CEO of Enjin, also spoke highly of the partnership with Virtual Worlds. He disclosed, “Virtual Worlds is bridging the best of 3D graphics and user experience through NFTs.”
