The NFT space is turning out to be a hugely attractive aspect of the blockchain and cryptocurrency space.
Unique Network, in conjunction with RMRK, is looking to facilitate the next generation of non-fungible token (NFT) technology. Unique Network launched Chelobricks last month. Now, the platform will increase its NFT universe by partnering with RMRK’s first NFT collection, Kanaria. Thereby, becoming the world’s first cross-blockchain NFTs with adaptive and composable features.
The partnership will create more use cases for NFTs by layering their design on different blockchains, thereby broadening their utility, usability, and functionality. This, in turn, will help expand the NFT ecosystem. It is also important to note that Unique Network is the first NFT chain for Polkadot.

The partnership will enable the growth and expansion of NFTs over time. The NFTs from the Kanaria collection will start out as eggs. They will then hatch into Kanaria birds and then develop alongside other platforms around them. Apart from permanent platform benefits, the Kanaria birds will also facilitate fair drops of RMRK tokens.
Alexander Mitrovich, co-founder of Unique Network, disclosed that the entire 10,000 characters of the Chelobrick collection were claimed in less than 20 hours. He added that the partnership with RMRK “[…] takes this sector to its next logical iteration.” The partnership will also help illustrate that “[…] NFTs are not meant to sit in wallets and gather dust.”
Mitrovich explained, “Our partnership with RMRK takes this sector to its next logical iteration – NFTs that can interact with each other, own each other, evolve with each other, and are governable by DAOs.”
The partnership will also extensively address the scope, vision, and usability of the fast-rising NFT space. A major part of which is the current scalability issues plaguing the Ethereum blockchain. This partnership will further facilitate the usability of other chains apart from the Ethereum chain, such as Polkadot and Kusama.
Bruno Skvorc, founder of RMRK, also spoke highly of the partnership. He said that the “[…] partnership demonstrates the power of composable, forever-liquid, multi-resource NFTs.” He also noted that NFTs are supposed to “[…] grow their liquidity and utility well into the future.”
A Chelobrick owner who buys a Kanaria egg will get a legendary NFT. This NFT can be equipped on both the Kanaria bird that hatches from the egg and the Chelobrick. In addition, a Chelobrick owner that gets a Kanaria egg is eligible for NFTs that will evolve, grow, and upgrade over time. Such NFTs will be eternally liquid as they are automatically applicable to any future NFT project.
