The World Digital Mining Map (WDMM) platform

Mining hardware owners are always in need of locations with the right conditions and resources for mining cryptocurrency. Therefore, Bitmain’s plans to launch the WDMM project is a good one. It will also be the first global resource to connect mining hardware owners with mining farms who have available power resources to host them for a fee.

Director of Bitmain Mining Farm, Matthew Wang commented on the development. He said: “The WDMM will help make cryptocurrency mining more sustainable in the long-run. This is by connecting mining farms and hardware owners in a whole new way. Therefore, it’s our commitment to provide miners with on-going support throughout their hardware’s lifetime and to support the sector’s overall growth.”

Mining farm owners will submit details of their farm’s set up and their capacity to host other miners to be listed on WDMM. Accordingly, Bitmain will give participants personalized services. They include assistance with mining farm design, connections to foreign customers to host and support with operations, purchasing, and construction.

In the past, importers of Bitmain miners was investigated by the Russian Federal Customs Service.

Bitmain also plans to announce the winners of the world’s top 10 mining farms during the WDMS.

According to the report, voting for the Top 10 Mining Farms is still open and individuals can cast a vote here.
