Popular crypto fintech platform Crypto.com has added several new features on its platform. According to a recent blog post, Coinzilla integrating Crypto.com Pay was an important development.
As a result, from now on users can now make payments on Coinzilla with Crypto.com Pay. They can also purchase mobile phone airtime using the app.
Buy airtime with Crypto.com Pay
The fintech platform since its inception has introduced several important offers for its users all over the globe, like the easy purchase of groceries, loan schemes, etc. Recently it added mobile phone prepaid airtime purchasing option to its app.
In a blog post, the platform disclosed that as part of the latest update, users could now purchase mobile airtime top-up on the Crypto.com Pay app. Moreover, the users could make the airtime purchases with Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ripple’s XRP, Ethereum as well as the platform’s native token CRO. For every airtime purchase made with CRO, users will earn a 5% discount.
One of the most important aspects of the new update is the ease of purchase. With the app, users will have unlimited access to approximately 340 prepaid mobile network operators in more than 100 countries. This includes Airtel, Mobile, Vodafone, Orange Verizon, etc.
Besides, not only uses would be able to top up their own phones, but they would also get the option of purchasing airtime for others anywhere, anytime. They simply need to enter the correct phone number, followed by the amount and make payments with any of the specified crypto tokens. The airtime feature is currently available on iOS and Android version 3.57 of the app, according to the Crypto.com blog.
Coinzilla integrates Crypto.com Pay
In an interesting development, Coinzilla, the popular advertising firm recently announced the addition of Crypto.com Pay to its platform. This integration would enable Coinzilla users to pay for ads with the payment app.
As a result of the integration, the advertising firm, which essentially serves as a link between crypto advertisers and publishers, would start to accept BTC, LTC, ETH, XRP, and CRO via Crypto.com Pay.
In celebration of the integration, the Crypo.com announcement shared details where users would be able to enjoy up to 10% cashback in Pay Rewards for all payments made with CRO. Also, all deposits that users make in Coinzilla using CRO would attract the same cashback benefits. The timeline for availing of this offer would last till July 26.
Using Crypto.com Pay, e-commerce merchants can also easily accept payments in cryptocurrencies. They also have the option to convert it to fiat immediately to escape the risk of volatility.
Also, the fintech platform is offering double cash back for airtimes purchases as well as deposits in Coinzilla. Only a select group of users are eligible for this offer. They need an active deposit term in Crypto Earn with 10,000 CRO or more for 3 months. Alternatively, users staking 10,000 CRO or more in Crypto Exchange would also be able to enjoy the same benefit.
The fintech platform recently launched its alpha testnet and disclosed plans to roll out its MCO Visa Card Program in Canada soon.
