At the beginning of September, Gemini Custody announced the listing of several new digital assets on its platform. Now they’re finally available. But the community is still feeling disappointed.
Gemini made this announcement via Twitter on September 25, 2019.
The post reads:
“#GeminiCustody is proud to expand its list of digital assets. Our custody solution now supports 18 #crypto assets and counting…”
Thus, they include:

Twitter is on Fire
The twitter crypto community seems to have a problem with the new coins. In response to the tweet, people asked XRP, ERC, and Matic. They were wondering why the platform never added them.
One user went as far as asking why Ethereum classic never made it to the listing. He pointed out that ETC is among the foremost crypto in the US. Thus, Gemini should list it on the platform.
His tweet reads

Official Gemini Wallet – Guardawallet
In related news, Guardawallet is admonishing crypto investors to purchase the Gemini Dollar instead of other cryptocurrencies. It made this announcement via Twitter, asking users to exchange their crypto for $GUSD. This is to avoid the volatile nature of the crypto industry.
The exchange tweeted that:
“The volatility shows us that the time for stablecoins is already here. Exchange your crypto assets to @Gemini $GUSD, conveniently supported by all the versions of @GuardaWallet in a matter of a few clicks.”
For the uninitiated, stablecoins are digital currencies that aim to reduce the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies. Such assets as oil, fiat, precious metals, other crypto usually back it.
To remind, the Winklevoss brother launched the Gemini Dollar in 2018. The twins recently expressed support for Facebook’s controversial stablecoin, Libra. They believe it will take crypto adoption to the next level.
