McAfeeDEX is Gaining Traction

John McAfee’s crypto exchange, McAfeeDEX has revealed plans to integrate the TRON blockchain on its platform starting November 8.

According to a tweet, the integration between McAfeeDEX and TRON provides support for TRC10 and TRC20 tokens. Accordingly, McAfee acknowledged the security hitches in the blockchain tech. As well as, joining up with EOS, Binance Coin and NEO in 2020.

McAfee’s stand against centralized exchanges

McAfee launched his decentralized exchange about three weeks ago. The crypto baron is known for his stand against centralized crypto exchanges, which hold customers’ private keys. Previously, McAfee criticized exchanges that use a central authority. He described them as “a weak point.”

Quoting him: “Decentralized meaning that nobody controls it. While distributed means that it’s everywhere and therefore impossible to stop.” McAfee also compared privacy coins and decentralized exchanges to a golden goose that lays golden eggs.

Interestingly, despite the unsuccessful track of decentralized exchanges, behemoths like Binance, OKEx, and Bithumb are still launching them. For instance, a January survey claimed that DEX platforms amounted to 19% of global exchange and about 1% of trading volume.

About McAfee DEX

McAfee announced the launch of his DEX platform via twitter. Accordingly, the platform doesn’t require customers’ names, documents, email, KYC checks, and bank info. It doesn’t have blocked jurisdictions and doesn’t monitor anything. Thus, no records and no restrictions exist.

Besides, in a tweet, he emphasized that “it takes time for enough users to join to make it real. But if you play, and be patient, you will see it’s the door that frees us from the government’s cornerstone of control.”

McAfee also strongly believes distributed exchanges and privacy coins will help break the bands of governmental control. Therefore, ensuring true economic and financial freedom.

Interestingly, on the day of its creation, the McAfeeDEX suffered a series of DDoS attacks. Although, they were quickly solved. Other issues like people typing the wrong URL for the McAfeeDEX URL and being redirected to random Binance referral links also occurred.

However, at the moment, things seem to be going well for McAfee in the crypto community. Currently, the McAfeeMagic platform boasts of stability and growth. Also, his McAfeeDEX appears to be meeting its objectives.
