Following a successful launch on Android, the TronWallet is now available to iOS users. The TRON Foundation made the announcement regarding the iOS release yesterday on Twitter, informing that the peer-to-peer crypto wallet dedicated to TRON users, has officially launched on the iOS App Store.

The tweet from the TRON Foundation with the official announcement:

According to the announcement, the launch of TronWallet on the iOS App Store was a notable feat, as the group ran into multiple conflicts that delayed its release. While the TronWallet team initially set out to release both the Android and iOS versions simultaneously, they ultimately made the decision to push out the Android version while they worked on fixing all issues holding back the iOS release.

The TronWallet team explained:

“One of the many dependencies we were using was causing conflicts with our native module used to create accounts and deal with the inner workings of the crypto world. It was at that moment that we realized that we had to make a compromise: either we go down the multi-platform road as we had planned or we abandon those early goals for the sake of a faster release.”

The launch of TronWallet will likely further improve boost adoption of the TRON network, which recently reached 40% of the daily transactions found within the Ethereum (ETH) network. This massive growth in activity has come after only 2 months of the TRON mainnet being live.

At the time of writing, TRON (TRX) is trading at a price of $0,0264 on CoinGecko.
