Soneium – 3-Step Guide to Airdrop

Soneium is designed as a versatile, general-purpose blockchain with competitive features blending elements from various sectors.

It leverages the Op Stack and Superchain developed by the Optimism Foundation to enhance Ethereum’s scalability and speed. Soneium has launched a testnet, and there will likely be an airdrop. How to be eligible? Let’s find out.

Unlocking Soneium: Prerequisites of Soneium’s Airdrop

• A Metamask Wallet with Sepolia Testnet network added, funded with Testnet $ETH.
• Faucets for testnet $ETH are available here (Note that faucets only work from time to time):

Step #1: Faucet and Social Activities

1. Adding the Minato testnet(Chain ID: 1946) on Metamask thru Chainlist here:

2. Visit the Soneium bridge here and bridge testnet $ETH from Sepolia to Minato:
   • https://bridge.soneium.org/en/testnet
   • You may choose to generate some bridging volume by bridging back to Sepolia from Minato and then back to Minato again.
3. Head on over to the link here and complete all the quests for 45XP points:

4. Next, hop on over to the link here and complete the quests for a Cube and 100XP points:

5. Last but not least, ensure that after joining the discord, you can get all the roles:

6. In the tasks above, you should have followed Soneium’s X/Twitter account. Stay updated from their posts on their testnet!

#2: Mint XNAM Name Service

• Go to https://minato.xname.app/
• Mint a name on the Minato testnet
• This will get you an XNAME airdrop and possibly Soneium airdrop

#3: DeFi and DEX

• Go to https://testnet.verylongswap.xyz/swap
• Switch network from ASTAR to Minato
• Swap some ETH to USDC
• Open the liquidity tab & deposit Liquidity (preferably ETH – USDC) – https://testnet.verylongswap.xyz/add/ETH/0xA8CE8aee21bC2A48a5EF670afCc9274C7bbbC035/2500 ****
