Rapper Meek Mill Invites Fans To Adopt Cryptocurrency

Rapper Meek Mill (real name Robert Rihmeek Williams) has invited all his fans to adopt cryptocurrency.

In a recent tweet, rapper Meek Mill encouraged his fans and followers to get on board with crypto. The tweet reads, “I need everybody that rock wit me to learn about stocks and crypto currency!!!!!! ASAP!!!!!!”

Following this tweet, he dropped another similar post that relates to the gains he has gotten from cryptocurrency.

Meek Mill as a Crypto Promoter

It is also pertinent to note that this is not the first time that Meek Mill has promoted cryptocurrency on the Twitter platform. The rapper and songwriter has shown his love for cryptocurrency by encouraging his over 10 million followers to adopt cryptocurrency.

Though there is no additional context surrounding his recent tweets, Meek Mill has posted tweets concerning cryptocurrency in times past.

In December 2020, he made a request to billionaire financier Mike Novogratz to enlighten people about his knowledge on cryptocurrency using the social audio chat app, Clubhouse. Meek had referred to Mike Novogratz as a “big crypto stepper.”

Besides, Meek Mill’s continuous promotion of crypto is a sign that there is a strong bond between hip-hop and cryptocurrency.

Alliance Between Hip-Hop and Cryptocurrency

There are many proofs to show that rappers are showing their commitment towards cryptocurrency. In recent weeks, Murda Beatz and Megan Thee Stallion have promoted cryptocurrency on Twitter. Even Lil Pump has plans on launching his own coin soon. Other hip-hop artists that are into crypto include Nas, Nipsey Hussle, Lil Yachty, Lil B, 50 Cent, and Ghostface Killah.

Apart from being a crypto fan, Meek Mill is an outstanding artist. His freestyles have been featured on several mixtapes from the producer Knxwledge. Some big hits from Meek Mill include “Dreams and Nightmares,” from his 2012 album of the same name; “Levels,” which was released in 2013; R.I.C.O.; and “Going Bad,” which he did with Drake.

Before now, Pizza Hut started accepting cryptocurrency as a payment option in Venezuela. As one of the oldest pizza chains in the country, Pizza Hut will now allow its Venezuelan customers to pay for their purchases using Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
