Top Upcoming Crypto events | June Week 3

Bitcoin today, according to CoinGecko, is trading at $39,199.76, with a market cap of $734,392,096,364 and a 24-hour trading volume of $42,189,403,250.

Apart from bitcoin majorly sideways movements, several other upcoming crypto events are expected to take place in the crypto space next week. These upcoming crypto events include e-Money increasing its staking yield, the Aave Defi summit, and more.

  1. Aave DeFi Summit

Ethereum-based decentralized platform Aave has announced plans for its upcoming DeFi Summit. The summit is a week-long virtual event expected to take place from June 14 to June 18, 2021. According to reports, the summit will be the “[…] largest dedicated conference and event focused specifically on Decentralized Finance.”

Additionally, the summit will also bring together builders and developers to discuss extensively about the decentralized finance (DeFi) space.

Furthermore, a number of high-profile speakers will be present. Speakers will include Principal blockchain security engineer at Coinbase, Peter Kacherginsky, Cofounder and COO of Unicrypt Network, Chav, CEO of Aave, Stani Kulechov, CEO of Polygon (Matic Network), Sandeep Nailwal, and more.

2. Secret Network (SCRT) Secret BSC Bridge Mainnet Launch

Privacy-focused blockchain has disclosed plans of the mainnet launch of its Secret Binance Smart Chain (BSC) Bridge. The bridge is stated to go live on June 15, 2021, and will involve providing programmable privacy for BSC assets.

Secret bridges operate by enabling assets from other blockchains to enter the Secret Network ecosystem as privacy-preserving “Secret Tokens.”

The mainnet launch of the BSC bridge will facilitate interoperability between BSC assets and Secret Network. Additionally, it will also facilitate their use within Secret DeFi applications like its SecretSwap, Secret DeFi etc.

3. e-Money to Increase its Staking Yield

Blockchain and stablecoin issuance platform e-Money has disclosed plans to make strategic changes to its treasury delegations next week. These changes will see to the modification of users’ rewards so as to boost commitment to the e-Money platform.

Also, the stablecoin issuance platforms part of its strategic changes will increase its staking yield from its current 17% to an estimated 27%.

Furthermore, it will provide incentives for outreaches and promotion. According to reports, the first rebalancing of delegations will take place on June 14, 2021.

4. Polkadex Testnet Launch Schedule

Lastly, Polkadex has released a detailed schedule of its testnet launch. Moreover, next week ERC-20 PDEX to native PDEX one-way migration is stated to take place.
