Bitcoin has extended its bullish price rally today. The biggest cryptocurrency surged passed $8,800, even briefly touching $8,900. With that, Bitcoin reached its highest level since 7 May 2018.
The cryptocurrency market increased by a stunning $27 billion over the past 24 hours. Bitcoin continued the exponential rise of the last weeks and even passed $8,900, reaching a 12-month high.
During a bullish rally that started last night, Bitcoin surged from $8,000 to $8,700 within an hour. Although a small pull-back was expected, Bitcoin kept surging today, now trading around $8,900.
After the sudden Bitcoin rally, major crypto assets like Ethereum, Tron, Litecoin, and EOS started recording double digit growth, mostly in the range of 9 to 18%.
The absolute winners of today are Crypto.com (MCO), EOS (EOS), Litecoin (LTC) and TRON (TRON). MCO increased 28%, EOS rallied 17% and both TRON and Litecoin saw a 12% price increase.
It has to be seen if the market can keep it levels during the upcoming days. Many analysts have stated that a big correction has to occur at some point.
