In an ‘ultimate’ attempt to promote Litecoin, the Litecoin Foundation partnered with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Because of this, the Litecoin logo will be displayed on the octagonal fighting canvas at an upcoming event.

According to an announcement from the Litecoin Foundation, the Foundation has partnered with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) to promote Litecoin. With the partnership, Litecoin will be displayed on the octagonal fighting canvas during a UFC event.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is an American mixed martial art promotion company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is the largest MMA promotion company in the world and features the highest-level fighters on the roster.

On December 29, during an event called UFC 232 – a rematch between former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones and light heavyweight Alexander Gustafsson, Litecoin steps into the Octagon for the Litecoin Promotion.

Charlie Lee, the creator of Litecoin, tweeted:

The Litecoin Foundation has partnered with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), one of the leading mixed martial arts organizations, in a deal to promote the cryptocurrency.

The Litecoin Foundation said on Thursday about the partnership:

“Millions of viewers at such events would help raise global awareness and drive interest in Litecoin. With brands and institutions continuing to push into cryptocurrency and blockchain, this is yet another signal of this technology moving closer towards the mainstream.”

The foundation, which aims to help promote adoption of the cryptocurrency, also added that it hopes to continue the UFC partnership in the longer term.
