Popular cryptocurrency brokerage firm Voyager recently announced the addition of five new altcoins on its platform. The New York-based firm pointed out that the addition of this would increase the passive income of the holders through interest-earning.
Even before the official announcement, it has been weeks since Voyager first implied that Ripple (XRP) will be listed among altcoins available on its platform from May.

On April 30, the platform finally disclosed the newly listed altcoins apart from XRP. These are EOS (EOS), Stellar (XLM), OmiseGO (OMG), and 0x (ZRX). All five altcoins now yield interests on Voyager.
Prior to this announcement, Voyager had already been supporting nine other cryptocurrencies on its platform. These include the “King Crypto” Bitcoin and its native token Voyager Token (VGX). The other cryptocurrencies live on Voyager are DASH, ETH, LTC, BCH, USDT, TUSD, USDC.
May interest rates
The annual interest rates for the new altcoins will dangle between 1-2% during May, the first month, depending on the token involved. However, plans are in place to modify its interest rate on a monthly basis from now on.

Incidentally, the feature of limit orders essentially gives traders total control of the price they want their orders to be done. Simply put, a user picks a price, sets the order size while the app carries out the order immediately as the limit is achieved.
The VIP involves users earning monthly interests by simply holding any crypto available on the Voyager app. Notably, this is where the latest list of the five altcoins was added. Users also enjoy commission-free trading as well as easy crypto transfers.
