The Community Speaks segment is written by select members of cryptocurrency coin or token project communities who want to update the Altcoin Buzz Army about news surrounding the project they represent. Last time I informed everyone that there will be a number of important events for Unibright in Q4. Today I want to go into some more detail here.
- Public demo of the Unibright framework (October 26, 2018 in Belgrade)
A major milestone for Unibright will be the public beta release, which will be during the Unibright & Tolar meetup in Belgrade on October 26th 2018. During that meetup, Unibright will showcase the first live demo of the Unibright Framework. The public beta will be released afterwards, most probably in November but definitely in 2018 as promised.
Let me explain shortly what the framework is all about and what it does:
The Unibright framework consists of four parts:
The Unibright Visual Workflow Designer gives anyone the ability to craft powerful Blockchain-based solutions with no coding skills or expensive developers required! Define business integration workflows visually, without coding skills, which means that you can easily create a smart contract with a simple click & drag system.
The Unibright Contract Lifecycle Manager transforms visually designed workflows into platform-dependent code at the push of a button! It generates Smart Contracts for the most appropriate blockchain automatically.
The Unibright Explorer monitors the ongoing business process across all smart contracts and related systems. It helps to present on- and off-chain data to a useful, easy to understand dashboard.
The Unibright Connector connects existing IT landscape with different blockchains and smart contracts, using the set of predefined Smart Adapters.
Unique
The combination of these four parts makes the framework unique, but to highlight one that I personally find the most special, is the Unibright Connector. Why is this so special? There are almost no other blockchain projects that have this feature. The Unibright team indicates that they consider this to be a very important part, because they know that companies are very eager to work with blockchain, but they are still very reluctant to replace their existing IT systems with blockchain. The vision of the team matches the needs of the companies (the customer).
The connector is not “a new IT System“ but simply connects the existing System with other on- and off-chain systems. This creates the ability for companies to make use of blockchain technology without needing any coding skills. Companies can generate code from a purely visual GUI, choose from predefined templates, and they can monitor the ongoing process when things are happening in real time.
To be able to see the ongoing process without having the skill of a coding expert, but to still understand what is going on is something very groundbreaking.w
- Publication of the first pilot customers (Q4 2018)
This year, the first pilot customers will be announced who will actually test the Unibright framework. Undoubtedly, the Unibright team has tested everything innumerable times, but working with real customers and the adjustments that go with it make this test phase exciting for the team. We as a community are especially curious about which companies will be testing the Unibright framework.
The token model
The Unibright Token is a utility token and the voucher users need to use the Unibright framework. It serves as the fuel for the network. Whenever companies want to use the framework, they have to pay with Unibright tokens.
Each time the systems connect a Unibright smart contract with another system, this is a “Unibright Transaction” and this costs a certain amount of Unibright Tokens.
So with every transaction (connecting different systems or generating smart contracts), Unibright Tokens are transferred from the customers’ wallet within the platform to Unibright.
This is basically the utility of the Unibright token.
