HIFI raises $37M to Expand Stablecoin Payments and Tokenized Markets

New York-based HIFI closed a $37M Series A led by Left Lane Capital, its first priced round, to scale tokenized capital markets infrastructure.

HIFI, the New York-based stablecoin payments and tokenized assets company, raised $37 million in a Series A led by Left Lane Capital, the company said on September 24. The round is HIFI's first priced funding; HIFI CEO Zach Walsh told the valuation is not disclosed.

The capital is earmarked to scale HIFI's tokenized capital-markets infrastructure and expand its product suite, including stablecoin payments and card products, per a company statement. HIFI sells API infrastructure that ties money movement, compliance and settlement into one integration across bank rails and digital assets.

Operating footprint

HIFI's infrastructure moves more than $7 billion in annualized volume. "HIFI is processing approximately $7 billion in annualized volume directly through its platform," Walsh told. The company has onboarded more than 10,000 businesses and 200,000 end users, with payment capabilities reaching 87 countries.

Named customers include Sumitomo, the Fortune Global 500 conglomerate rebuilding cash management and trading operations on HIFI's rails; Dapper, building new digital marketplaces on the platform and Arival Bank, powering stablecoin payment experiences for its customers.

Tokenization backdrop

The raise lands as Wall Street plumbing moves on-chain. HIFI participated in DTCC's July production trades using DTC-tokenized assets, alongside BlackRock, Goldman Sachs and Nasdaq. DTCC plans to launch its Tokenization Service in October.

Citi projects the stablecoin market could reach $1.9 trillion by 2030, up from roughly $300 billion today, underpinning as much as $100 trillion in annual onchain settlement volume. Citi also estimates approximately 3% of the U.S. equity market will be tokenized by the end of the decade.

Cross-border stablecoin flows rose 77.5% to $220.3 billion in the 12 months ending June 2026, even as the wider crypto market shrank by more than a third over the same period, according to Chainalysis.

Card and bank rails

In September, HIFI announced a partnership with Visa to expand money movement and card capabilities using its stablecoin settlement platform, beginning with stablecoin-funded payouts to more than 4 billion Visa cards worldwide. HIFI's platform lets customers convert USDC and send the proceeds to eligible Visa debit and credit cards globally through Visa Direct.

Visa said more than 160 stablecoin-linked card programs were live globally in its fiscal second quarter, with payment volume through those programs up nearly 200% year over year. Visa's stablecoin settlement volume surpassed a $20 billion annualized run rate, more than 15 times its level a year earlier.

HIFI's infrastructure also settles the cash leg of tokenized repo and Treasury transactions in US dollars, alongside stablecoin conversion and US-rail payouts.

Undisclosed: valuation, co-investors

HIFI did not name other investors in the round beyond lead Left Lane Capital, and did not disclose a post-money valuation. No prior seed or unpriced funding was referenced either.

"The growth HIFI has demonstrated reflects both the strength of the team and the speed at which stablecoins have become a core part of global financial infrastructure," said Matthew Miller, Managing Partner at Left Lane Capital, which led the Series A. Left Lane was founded in 2019 and is based in New York and London.
