Yes, you can play Splinterlands on your mobile app or on your desktop. On your mobile, it’s available as an iOS and Android version.

You have two options on how you can access the game. One option is to go to their mobile web browser site. On the other hand, you can also download the game in the app stores. The Apple App Store for your iOS devices and the Google Play Store for your Android devices.

Which Cards Should You Buy in Splinterlands?

The cards that are best to buy in Splinterlands are not the cheapest cards. Prices range from $0.10 or cheaper to $1,300 and even up to $4,200. However, it may be better to buy one $2 or $5 card, instead of ten $0.20 or $0.50 cards. Shortly, I will also discuss renting cards. This can also be a suitable option. Either you rent your cards out or you rent them from another player.

But first things first. There are two different kinds of cards. Summoners and monsters. The summoners control the choice of your deck. They can also provide a variety of bonuses to your monsters. Furthermore, they dictate the element that you use. You can buy both from the marketplace. Now, the summoners come in six different elements.

  • Fire
  • Water
  • Earth
  • Life
  • Death
  • Dragons

So, cards also have four rarity levels. The rarity levels are Legendary, Epic, Rare, and Common. As a beginner, the Life element cards give you a well-balanced card. On the other hand, the Water element cards are most popular. Or try to get a Dragon summoner as this allows you to play two elements. They are pricier, but this may pay off.

In other words, the card system is a complex set up. It will take some time to get the full hang of all the combinations and tactics you can play. Start out on a small budget and climb your way through the lower league ranks. It’s important to start understanding the game’s flow. This also allows you to understand the cards better.

Make sure that your cards have enough power. It appears that cards with a higher power win most of the games. Below you can see the various levels of an Epic card.

On the Splinterlands marketplace, you can click on the “Card rentals” button. Here you can use a variety of filters. You can filter for pricing, foil, type, splinter, or summoner.

Card rental is cheap. Even Rare Gold cards go for under $0.01 per day. However, once you get up to Legendary cards, rental prices can be as high as $36 per day. However, there are also Gold Legendary cards for $0.0202 per day.
