How Many ONDO Will Make You a Crypto Millionaire?

42% gain in 4 weeks. It’s not a meme or a small cap or vaporware or hype. It’s Ondo! And it’s a reminder that there is always room in your portfolio and gains you can make from owning quality projects with real utility.

You know how fast RWA is growing as a sector. So it led us to how much $ONDO would it take to become a millionaire? Let’s find out.

News & Historical Performance

We last examined how many $ONDO it takes to become a millionaire as part of our Millionaire series back in February. At that time, we considered a few prices, including some scenarios if everything works out perfectly and RWA grows into the trillions as expected. Those scenarios have Ondo in the tens of dollars, while its current price is $1.03.

RWA protocols are crushing it right now. Ondo has a TVL growth of 65% just in the first 4 months of this year. And that’s not even the biggest one. Blackrock’s BUIDL Fund, a key partner for Ondo, is up almost 400% in TVL for the year to date. It’s not hype or exaggeration to say RWA protocols are starting to go or will be going parabolic anytime now.

The deregulation, or at least lack of regulation by lawsuit by the Trump administration benefits RWA more than almost any other sector. It means projects are free to tokenize not just US Treasuries like Ondo does, but also stocks, real estate, and more. It enables the dream of bringing trillions of dollars of  TVL and billions of dollars of added value to the protocols that bring them on-chain.

And now, Ondo’s yield-earning stablecoin USDY will get support in Latin America, where demand for securities and investments in dollars is much higher than in other parts of the world. It’s hard to think of a sector other than AI that is poised to grow so much in the next 5-10 years. And Ondo is a leader with the largest RWA protocol in crypto and key partners like BlackRock.

What The Charts Say?

The $ONDO token has been live since January 2024. So that’s a little less than 18 months. Ondo’s all-time high is $2.14 in December 2024. Since then, it’s down 50% to its current price of $1.03.

On the resistance side, we see a strong point of resistance at $1.64. It hit that point twice in January and February before dropping again. If Ondo passes this price, then the next resistance point is the all-time high. From there, it will go as high as it remains a leader in the RWA sector.

On the support side, recent lows are at 70c in April and 57c back in mid-November. The next low from back in March 2024 is 49c from its first run-up after the token launch. If it drops below 49c, there’s not much support to stop it from going lower.

That downside scenario is pretty unlikely given its strong position in the market and backing by firms like BlackRock and Mastercard.

How Many Ondo to Make $1 Million?

So we’ve seen where Ondo’s been. And we have a good idea of what direction Ondo is moving. How many Ondo does it take to become a millionaire? At today’s price, it takes 970,873 $ONDO to be worth $1 million. At $5, which we expect this cycle, then that would be 200,000 $ONDO at a value of $206,000 today.

Now let’s look ahead. At its current $3.2 billion market cap, if Ondo does a 10x, its value will be around the value that $DOGE is now at, $32 billion. Possible? Yes. And of course, if Ondo grows, the broader market grows too so $32 billion would no longer be the #8 project by market cap. That would mean a price of $10, and 100,000 $ONDO would give you millionaire status.

Finally, let’s look at Solana at #6. Its market value is $89 billion. That would be a price of around $28 if Ondo reaches that size. Possible? Yes, but probably not this cycle. That’s even though RWA will grow faster in the next 5 years than every sector with the possible exception of AI.

At $28, you would need 35,714 $ONDO or $36,785 at today’s prices. Could Ondo go to $50 or $100 or more? If RWA fulfills its promise and we really do start tokenizing everything with all the stocks, bonds, currencies, and real estate out there, then yes. The sky-high valuations that come with that look at least 1 or 2 cycles away, despite how bullish we are on this project.
