1) Helium

With the approval of HIP 130, Data-Only MOBILE Hotspots are now earning $MOBILE for data transfers. Helium even peaked for weekly Data Credits (DC) burned in September. This shows the growing demand for its decentralized network.

2) Dabba Network

Dabba Network is changing India by installing low-cost, high-speed WiFi networks in uncovered areas. They assist in enhancing Internet access in areas of convenience since they have deployed 1,600 WiFi hotspots.

29,000 devices connect to the WiFi hotspots. The target is to reach 150,000 local cable operators to incorporate the plan.

3) DAWN

DAWN is all about decentralizing wireless internet services. They allow users to share internet access in regions with unavailable traditional infrastructure. DAWN provides cheap internet for under $10 a month. It also gives token holders 12% of on-chain revenue in areas where they have stakes.

DAWN has already run tests with 3,000 homes in New York City, bringing in $1 million. DAWN is one to watch, with plans to cover 3 million U.S. households. They raised $18 million in a Series A round led by Dragonfly Capital and other prominent investors.

4) Hivemapper

Hivemapper is taking mapping to the next level by decentralizing the entire process. Drivers with dashcams collect location data as they drive and receive $HONEY tokens as payment.
