HYPE, ETH, LINK and XLM Price Analysis: What Comes Next?

HYPE, Ethereum, Chainlink and Stellar are at crucial levels following the recent crypto market rally. Here are the key support and resistance zones to watch.

The broader crypto market has entered a more uncertain phase after its recent explosive rally. While several major altcoins continue to hold bullish technical structures, momentum is cooling and buyers now face important resistance levels.

Hyperliquid (HYPE), Ethereum (ETH) and Chainlink (LINK) remain among the stronger performers, while Stellar (XLM) is still trying to turn its recovery into a sustained breakout.

Hyperliquid Holds Strong Above Key Breakout Zone

Hyperliquid has maintained one of the strongest structures among major altcoins following its sharp August rally.

HYPE climbed from around $55 earlier in the month and pushed into the $80 - $85 range. The most important technical development was its breakout above the previous $75 - $76 resistance zone, which had rejected the token several times during June and July.

So far, HYPE has managed to consolidate above $77, suggesting that buyers are still defending the breakout.

However, momentum is becoming stretched. The RSI sits near 75.6, placing HYPE in overbought territory after the token gained roughly 45% from its August lows.

The $75 - $77 range now acts as the first important support zone. A sustained move above $84 could put $90 into focus, while a deeper correction could bring the $67 area into play.

Ethereum Faces Resistance Near $2,500

Ethereum has also completed a major technical recovery after climbing from roughly $1,900 to around $2,451.

The move pushed ETH above several important moving averages, including the long-term average near $2,145. That level has now become one of Ethereum's most important structural support zones.

However, ETH is facing resistance between $2,500 and $2,550. Its RSI is also near 75.6, suggesting that the market may need time to cool after the rapid advance.

If Ethereum can establish support around $2,400 and break above $2,550, the next upside zone could sit between $2,700 and $2,800.

On the downside, holding above $2,300 would preserve much of the immediate bullish momentum. A deeper decline below $2,145, however, could weaken the breakout and put $2,000 back into focus.

Chainlink Builds Momentum After Technical Breakout

Chainlink has also shown a significant improvement in its market structure.

LINK briefly reached around $12.50 before pulling back to approximately $11.36. The key development was its recovery above the long-term moving average near $9.68 after spending much of the summer below that level.

The breakout was supported by a noticeable increase in trading volume as LINK moved through the $9.50 - $10 range.

Chainlink Price Chart August 27

However, momentum is also becoming stretched, with the RSI near 72. LINK has already faced selling pressure around the $12 - $12.50 resistance zone.

A successful breakout above this area could open the path toward $13.50 - $14. On the downside, $10.50 is the closest support level, while the $9.70 - $10 zone remains the more important structural area for bulls to defend.

A successful retest of that range could strengthen the argument that LINK's recovery is developing into a broader bullish trend.

Stellar Needs to Reclaim $0.20

Unlike HYPE, ETH and LINK, Stellar's recovery remains less convincing.

XLM recently climbed from around $0.155 and briefly touched $0.22, but the rally lost momentum after failing to establish itself above the $0.19 - $0.20 resistance zone. It is currently trading near $0.1804.

The long-term moving average around $0.1897 has once again acted as resistance. Meanwhile, XLM's RSI has cooled to around 53 after previously entering overbought territory.

XLM Price Chart August 27

The $0.176 - $0.180 area is now an important short-term support cluster. As long as this range holds, the recovery structure remains intact.

For a stronger bullish move, XLM needs to reclaim $0.19 and establish support above $0.20. That could bring the $0.21 - $0.22 zone back into focus.

However, losing $0.176 could expose the $0.165 - $0.170 area, while a deeper move toward $0.155 would largely erase the recent breakout.

What’s Next for the Altcoin Market?

The recent market rally has shifted the technical structure of several major altcoins, but the next phase will depend on whether buyers can defend their newly established support levels.

HYPE remains strong above its breakout zone, Ethereum is testing resistance near $2,500, and Chainlink is attempting to build on its recovery above $10. Stellar, meanwhile, still needs a convincing move above $0.20 before its bullish case becomes stronger.

With several assets showing overbought RSI readings, a period of consolidation would not necessarily signal the end of the broader recovery. Instead, how these cryptocurrencies react at their key support levels may determine whether the current bullish momentum can continue.
