3 Explosive Sui ecosystem Altcoin Projects! 1900% Up Altcoins?

Sui is up 9647% since its IEO. Undoubtedly, it has been one of the best performing altcoin in the last 2 years. Not only that.  It is one of the best ecosystems in the industry. Look at  DeepBook from Sui. It pumped 318% in the last 14 days. It is up 1900% since it’s all-time low in October 2024. Even Pokémon might be coming to Sui now that one of the Mysten Labs companies is a developer for the game. 

The question is — Does the Sui ecosystem have more such explosive gems? In this video, we have uncovered 3 Sui Gems that hold great potential, maybe even higher than DeepBook!

Walrus ($WAL)

First up, we have Walrus. It’s the biggest thing to come to decentralized storage we’ve seen. It’s big enough and dependable enough to store, manage, and access full AI LLM models. This will become a big use case in the years to come. As AI decides how centralized or decentralized it wants to be, the decentralized side will need a storage and access solution like Walrus.

Walrus had a successful token launch in March. Those that got in then are still in the money despite these terrible market conditions. $WAL is down ~25% off its first high of 60c. It’s still among the top 150 projects and rising.

A couple of other highlights supporting Walrus’ great progress include

1. Walrus’ easy handling of now 9 million blobs or large files. Along with that, in the testnet before the successful mainnet launch, Walrus handled over 27 TB terabytes of data. Now, that is a LOT of data. It’s a clear sign that AI models and other large datasets will be able to operate easily using Walrus for storage.
2. An extra $140 million in funding to help the team keep building. Standard Crypto and a16z led the round.
   

Seal provides encryption not just across Sui but specifically for Walrus stored data. Managing all these pieces smoothly of storage, easy access, and security is tough. Yet, Walrus is doing it.

The use cases it has for AI, machine learning, data analysis, and anyone else that needs decentralized ownership or access to datasets will become more obvious by the day.

Walrus has all the ingredients of a winning project. At under 50c and a market value of $550 million, it’s a great buy at this price. We expect it to surpass Filecoin someday soon.

Sui Network ($SUI)

Next, I have to come clean. We found a few ecosystem projects we like a lot. And not just Walrus.

But with the recent correction from just under $5 to today’s price at $2.25, we just can’t find a better risk/return ratio than $SUI itself. Its potential returns for the risk might be the best of any project in the industry right now. 

Even though we tried to avoid it, we have to recommend Sui once again. It was attractive at $5 or $6 and is even more attractive now when $5 is more than a 2x on your money today.

Sui Developments

A couple notable recent things for Sui include,

1. A Canary Capital ETF filing for Sui just a couple of weeks ago. And they’ve followed it up with an ETF filing for Tron just last week. Canary wants to be a crypto-native investment house like Bitwise. They join Van Eck and a couple others with Sui ETFs. This regulated investment product means TradFi fund managers can easily buy Sui on behalf of their clients without doing wallet setups or bridging or anything. Just buy shares in the fund. That convenience combined with compliance is what makes it such a big deal.
   

And on the tech side of things, Sui is adding passkeys for better security. Instead of a reliance on seed phrases, a WebAuthn passkey means no more worries about phishing or losing your seed phrase somewhere. It’s a big step forward for onboarding the public easily.

A record 45.5 million sponsored transactions in March. The most ever on the chain.

Stablecoin supply, hitting an ATH of $656 million also in March. It’s over $900 million today.

And as I said earlier, the price performance is a big part of this. Sui is taking a hit for general market uncertainty from global issues like tariff policy. When it gets straightened out, Sui will go back to crushing as it did before.

Cetus Protocol ($CETUS)

And last for today, we have Cetus Protocol. Cetus is one of the top DEXes on Sui. It’s a market maker, but not just any AMM. They use a CLMM framework or concentrated liquidity. This lets Cetus be more capital efficient AND it can do big CEX functions like limit orders and other things traders like. It’s not just simple swapping anymore.

Total TVL on Sui has exploded to over $1.3 billion. Cetus is up to over $140 million in TVL, too. Cetus is now a Top 10 DEX across all chains in daily trading volume. With a market cap of $97 million, their market cap to TVL is 0.59 implying a good value at this price.
