3 SUI Ecosystem Altcoins With EASY 10x Potential

Have you heard about the Solana of 2021 for this bull run yet? Right, that’s the Sui Network and its $SUI token. Since September 2024 it has been on fire. It went all the way up from 75 cents to its $5.35 ATH. That’s like a 6x. Currently, it’s dipping a bit, but that looks like a healthy correction. After so much upside, a bit of cooling off is healthy. 

The Mysten Labs team, that’s behind the Sui Network, keeps building and delivering. At the same time, the Sui ecosystem keeps growing and performing. There’s a lot going on with Sui and its ecosystem, and this is where we can possibly find the next 5x 10x altcoin.

Sui Network ($SUI)

The Sui Network ($SUI) keeps building and delivering. Their co-founders are some of the most active builders in the whole crypto sector. Sui is only two years old but has already achieved a lot. And still, it feels like this is only the beginning.

One of their main builders, Kostas Chalkias, is planning to launch 1 high quality project per day. So, better be prepared. But anyway, here are some of Sui’s latest achievements. For instance,

Nautilus.

This integrates verifiable off-chain compute. It allows apps to perform private computation. As a result, Nautilus brings seamless trust and privacy to Sui. Since last week, it’s live on Sui’s mainnet. With Nautilus, devs can create oracles that are tamper-proof. It eliminates any trust issues that there may be with Web3 infrastructure. Claynosaurz.

This is a blue-chip NFT collection on Solana. However, it is now extended to Sui with their new Popkins collection. Popkins have a 25k supply and 97k BoosterPacks were minted at $200 per pack. If you didn’t get a Popkin, you received a full refund. This went smooth as silk and within 1 hour, all refunds were made last week. That was almost 14 million $USDC or 73k wallets. The collection is now live, and you can get your Popkin at Tradeport. This brought thousands of new users to Sui.

Trust Wallet

Trust Wallet has now added $SUI swaps on its mobile and extension options. You can now swap any token to $SUI, either the same chain or cross-chain. 

DeFi

Sui also keeps growing in DeFi. For TVL, Sui takes 8th spot among all other chains.

The current $SUI price is $3.40 with an $11.5 billion market cap. That’s 40% away from its ATH. A great entry point, since I expect $SUI to continue its general uptrend.

Walrus Protocol ($WAL)

Walrus Protocol ($WAL) is the decentralized storage platform by Mysten Labs. That’s the same team that’s behind the Sui network. Walrus raised no less than $140 million in funding from top venture capital firms. Its mainnet went live in late March.

Walrus also integrates with Nautilus, which I mentioned a moment ago. And that’s only one of 141 projects that you can find on Walrus. Within a short time frame, Walrus found a lot of platforms that are using its services. That’s quite impressive.

This also led to the fact that over 26% of its current storage capacity is already used. We’re talking some big numbers here. That’s 1 Petabyte storage out of the currently available 4 Petabytes. See the picture below.

Walrus hit the scene with a massive airdrop and until late last month, the $WAL token did fine. It hit a new ATH during mid-May of 76 cents. Shortly after this milestone, the Cetus hack took place. 

Like most Sui ecosystem tokens, also $WAL’s price dropped. However, I see this as a great entry point. At 49 cents, $WAL is 35% away from its ATH. With a $661 million market cap, it has plenty of growth potential. This is like a slow burner that has all the potential to only keep going up in the long term.

Suilend ($SEND)

Suilend ($SEND) is the leading lending and borrowing protocol on Sui. But not only that, it also leads the TVL charts of all Sui DeFi platforms. Currently, Suilend even offers 0% borrow fees. Furthermore, Suilend offers some interesting APRs, for example,

• 5.96% on native $USDC
• 8.70% on $suiUSDT
• 8.60% on $AUSD
• 42.42% on $DEEP.
• 64.28% on $WAL.
• 38.96% on $HAEDAL.
  

If you loop your Sui ecosystem assets safely, like with $sSUI and $SUI, you can earn a nice passive income. My net APR is currently almost 28%. But looping does involve leverage, so DYOR.

Suilend also plays a role in the Sui BTCfi scene. It offers 50% on Open LTV’s on $LBTC and $wBTC. Open LTV is a ratio that determines the borrowing power provided by a deposited asset when opening a new borrow position. This is currently the highest on Sui. 

Right now, over $102M in $BTC assets are already deposited on Suilend. This makes it the prime destination for $BTC-backed borrowing in Sui DeFi.

The current $SEND price is 51 cents. It’s a tad bit short of a $27 million market cap. So, once again, plenty of growth potential here.
