Questions
Will Bitcoin go up today?
Nobody can say for sure: one day’s move is notoriously hard to call, and we don’t make predictions. The Daily Call lets you make your own. Call Higher or Lower for Bitcoin and Ethereum before 00:00 UTC, and see after the close whether you were right.
How is a call scored?
We compare the coin’s close for the day, its price at 00:00 UTC, with the close the day before. If the new close is higher, Higher wins. If it is lower, or exactly the same, Lower wins.
When can I make my call?
Any time during the UTC day, up to 00:00 UTC. The countdown shows how long is left. The next day’s game opens straight after.
Where do the prices come from?
CoinGecko. Prices here refresh about every 15 minutes, so they show how the day is going rather than every tick. Results use CoinGecko’s daily close, which usually appears within an hour of 00:00 UTC.
What counts toward my streak?
Every day you make at least one call. Miss a day and the streak starts again. Until 00:00 UTC, today’s missing call doesn’t break it.
Where is my record kept?
Only in this browser, on this device. There’s no account, and nothing is sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data or switching devices starts you from zero.
Is the Daily Call free, and is it financial advice?
It’s free, with no account or sign-up. And it isn’t advice: it’s a game about one day’s price direction, for fun and for sharpening your read of the market. Don’t trade on it.
