Corrections Policy
Spotted a mistake in one of our stories? Here's how to tell us, and what we do about it.
Our Commitment
Accuracy comes first. When we get a fact wrong, we fix it promptly and tell readers what changed, whether we found the error or you did.
How to Report an Error
Email contact@altcoinbuzz.io with “Correction” in the subject line, or reach us on any channel listed on the contact page. Please include:
- the headline or link of the story;
- what you believe is wrong;
- a source that shows the correct information, if you have one.
What Happens Next
An editor reviews every report against the original sources. If the story is wrong, we correct it. Anything beyond a typo gets a correction note at the end of the story saying what changed and when.
If we stand by the story, we’ll reply and explain why.
Updates to Developing Stories
News moves fast. We update developing stories as new facts emerge; an update adds information, while a correction fixes something we got wrong. Significant updates are noted in the story.
Analysis & Opinion
We correct factual errors in technical analysis and opinion pieces like any other story. A market call that doesn’t play out is not an error: it was the author’s view at the time of writing, and it stays as published.
Right of Reply
If you or your project are the subject of a story and believe it is unfair or inaccurate, contact us. Where it’s warranted, we add your response to the story.
Our Standards
Corrections are one part of how we work. The editorial policy covers sourcing, independence, sponsored content and who funds us.
