Binance Earn Launches Soft Staking

The product, called Soft Staking, is now live on Binance Earn and supports multiple tokens at launch.

Soft Staking lets users earn rewards on eligible tokens while keeping full access to their crypto.

Earn While Staying Flexible

Instead of locking up assets, users can hold supported tokens. For example, BNB, SOL, ADA, SUI, TON, NEAR, POL, ALGO, S, and AXS in their Spot wallets. They will then receive daily staking rewards. There’s no need to move assets to a special account or lock them away for a set time.

This feature is aimed at users who want to earn passive income. This is while still being able to trade, withdraw, or use their assets whenever they choose. For example, someone holding SOL in their Spot account can earn staking rewards daily. They can still sell or transfer that SOL if market conditions change.

Jeff Li, VP of Product at Binance, said the new product was created in response to user demand. “Soft Staking is our response to that demand, offering users a seamless way to earn staking rewards while keeping flexible access to their assets,” he said.

Binance Earn has seen steady growth throughout 2025, recently surpassing 11 million users. This growth is largely fueled by users looking for easy ways to grow their holdings without sacrificing liquidity. Flexible earning tools like Soft Staking are part of a broader trend where investors seek out convenience, low risk, and simple rewards. Here is an example of what Binance earn offers:

Rewards from Soft Staking are generated using proof-of-stake protocols on the blockchain. These rewards are then credited to users’ accounts daily in the native token. To take part, users only need to meet minimum holding requirements, which vary by token.
