Binance has just announced the results of its first-ever "Vote to Delist" initiative—and 14 tokens are getting the boot

Over 24,000 users participated, casting more than 100,000 votes. Binance evaluated the results after filtering out ineligible and invalid submissions to ensure fairness. The move comes as part of Binance’s effort to keep its listings up to snuff by leaning on both data and community feedback.
So what made these tokens fall out of favor? Binance uses a wide set of standards to decide whether a token should stay or go. This includes things like:
The commitment and activity of the project team.
Trading volume and liquidity.
Network security.
Community engagement and communication.
Response to Binance’s due diligence.
Regulatory compliance and tokenomics.
If a project is asleep at the wheel or shows signs of shady behavior, that’s a red flag. Other factors, like a sudden spike in token supply or changes in leadership, can also tip the scales.
The “Vote to Delist” program is Binance’s way of keeping the community in the driver’s seat while also upholding strong standards. And while this is just the first batch, tokens that survived this round aren’t out of the woods just yet. If they drop the ball going forward, they could still end up on the chopping block.
Binance is proud to announce that it has successfully assisted four victims in freezing and recovering a total of $217,000 lost in the SpireBit crypto scam. By leveraging its robust security measures and close cooperation with law enforcement, Binance was able to track and freeze the stolen funds, providing much-needed support to those impacted by the fraudulent scheme.
