Binance to Delist EPIC and QUICK, Ending Spot Trading on October 28

Binance will remove all EPIC and QUICK spot pairs on October 28, with margin, futures, deposits and withdrawals closing on their own dates before then.

Binance will delist Epic Chain (EPIC) and QuickSwap (QUICK), removing all spot trading pairs for both tokens on October 28. Anyone holding either token on the exchange has two weeks of spot trading left.

The dates that bite sooner are the quiet ones. Margin borrowing stops on October 15, futures contracts are settled on October 20, and deposits stop being credited on October 29. Withdrawals stay open until December 28.

Binance Gave a Criteria List, Not a Reason

The exchange said it decided to delist both tokens after its most recent reviews. Binance lists trading volume, development activity and team commitment among the factors it considers, and its review criteria also cover liquidity, network security, transparency and token economics. No token-specific reason for EPIC or QUICK was given in the announcement.

That matters for holders weighing whether either project can fix anything before the deadline. There is no published fault to correct.

The Dates That Matter, Service by Service

  • October 15: margin borrowing is suspended and both tokens leave Binance Buy & Sell Crypto.
  • October 20: no new futures positions can be opened, and Binance settles all EPIC and QUICK contracts. Outstanding loans are closed, margin trading is removed and both tokens are dropped from Binance Pay.
  • October 21: Spot Copy Trading delists both pairs and force-sells remaining assets at market price. Simple Earn redeems Flexible and Locked positions into users' Spot Accounts.
  • October 28: spot trading ends, all open orders are removed and Trading Bots stop running on both pairs. Binance Convert and Gift Card also drop the tokens.
  • October 29: deposits of EPIC and QUICK are no longer credited to user accounts.
  • December 28: Binance stops processing withdrawals of both tokens.
  • December 29: Binance may convert leftover balances into stablecoins. The exchange said conversion is not guaranteed.

The exact set of spot pairs being removed has not been confirmed.

Both Tokens Spent Months on a Warning List

QUICK received Binance's Monitoring Tag on April 30 and EPIC was added on May 22. The exchange applies the tag to tokens it considers more volatile and risky than its other listings, and warns that tagged assets may eventually fail its listing criteria. QUICK was still carrying the tag on October 14.

EPIC is the native token of Epic Chain, a project formerly called Ethernity Chain whose token traded as ERN before a rebrand in early 2025. Binance supported that change with a 1:1 token swap, and the EPIC/USDT pair opened there in March 2025. QUICK is the governance and utility token of QuickSwap, a decentralized exchange built on Polygon.

What Holders Can Still Do Before Trading Ends

QUICK fell about 10% below its pre-announcement level on Binance after the notice went live, and roughly 17 minutes later was still trading 6.69% lower, according to TradingView data. EPIC slid about 9%, then recovered within the same window and was trading 5.61% above that mark.

For comparison, in August, ICON and Secret sank to fresh all-time lows after a Binance delisting notice, losing 12.5% and 18.8%.

Exit liquidity is harder to judge. Public trackers disagree on QUICK's recent 24-hour volume, one showing about $500,000 and another effectively zero.

For holders who want out, the order of events matters more than the price. Sell while spot trading is still open, and withdraw before December 28, because Binance stops processing withdrawals after that. After October 29 a deposit will not be credited, so tokens sent to the exchange after that date never reach the balance.

The calendar is short and one-directional: trade by October 28, withdraw by December 28, and stop sending either token in after October 29.
