Binance to Shut Its Mining Pool Nov. 10, Ending a Six-Year Run

Binance will discontinue Binance Pool and related services on Nov. 10, 2026.

Binance will switch off Binance Pool on Nov. 10, 2026, disconnecting mining rigs from the exchange's pool and ending a service it launched in April 2020. The closure reaches past mining itself: Pool Savings, Cloud Mining and Transaction Accelerator stop on the same day, along with mining pool APIs and hashrate notifications.

If your machines submit hashrate to Binance Pool, that stops at the cutoff and you need somewhere else to point them before then. If you hold Bitcoin or any other asset on Binance and never used the pool, this notice does not change your account.

The Deadlines, and What Each One Does

Binance's announcement lists the services and the date. The clock times come from reports of that notice, because Binance's own support page for it could not be read when this article was written.

  • Before 07:00 UTC on Nov. 10: mining shares you have already submitted stay in the final reward calculation, under the pool's existing mining rules. A share is a unit of work a pool credits toward a payout.
  • At 07:00 UTC on Nov. 10: Binance disconnects mining equipment, disables the Stratum addresses and mining endpoints, and stops accepting hashrate submissions. Rewards and yields on the affected products stop.
  • By 23:59 UTC on Nov. 10: any identity verification or other account requirements have to be finished.
  • Nov. 10: links to Binance Pool come off the Binance homepage.
  • Nov. 24, 07:00 UTC: the remaining pool pages close, ending the 14 days of temporary access to historical mining records and payout information.

The list of cancelled services and the November date appear in Binance's announcement, published on its announcements channel on Oct. 13. The 07:00 UTC time, the Nov. 24 record deadline and the 23:59 UTC verification deadline rest on reports of that notice rather than on the exchange's own page, which could not be read.

The Notice Says Very Little About Why

"As part of our ongoing review of products and services, Binance will discontinue Binance Pool and related services on 2026-11-10."

That is the whole explanation. Binance has not attributed the closure to Stratum V2, to network conditions or to competition from other mining businesses, and it published no financial results for Binance Pool. It named no replacement mining provider and did not say how much computing power was connected. The exchange did not respond to a request for more detail about the decision.

Payment of unsettled rewards and refunds is not automatic either. Binance said eligibility depends on the product terms, account status, risk controls, compliance reviews and applicable laws, and its notice did not promise immediate payment of everything outstanding.

Brazil Loses Pool Access Two Weeks Early

Some users are cut off sooner. Binance announced on Oct. 8 that from Oct. 27, 2026, Brazilian residents lose access to Binance Loans, Binance Pool, Cloud Mining, margin trading, Launchpool, Megadrop, HODLer Airdrops and Alpha 2.0. Twenty-two tokens also come off the list for those users: XVG, USDE, USTC, DCR, DUSK, PIVX, BB, MANTRA, ONE, GMT, TFUEL, ZIL, ONT, RVN, ACX, HIT, PYR, VANRY, VIC, ICX, SCRT and STORJ.

That restriction is tied to compliance with new central bank rules in Brazil. The Central Bank of Brazil set the framework through Resolutions 519, 520 and 521 in November 2025. For a Brazilian miner, the practical effect is the same shutdown, two weeks earlier than the global date.

A Lending Program With No Stated Ending

Binance Pool's history includes a $500 million lending initiative it introduced in October 2022, aimed at Bitcoin miners and digital asset infrastructure companies, including operators running large mining facilities. The October 2026 closure notice does not address the status of those loans, and no repayment or wind-down terms have been published. If you borrowed through it, the notice you can read today does not tell you what happens next.

The pool also began supporting Fractal Bitcoin merged mining in November 2024, without Binance committing to list the FB token. It ended USDP support in September 2026 under a separate stablecoin delisting schedule, with Sept. 16 and Sept. 17 deadlines.

What Remains Unknown

Binance gave no figure for how much hashrate sits on its pool, so the size of the migration is unclear. It also gave no specific reason for a closure that ends more than six years of operation, leaving miners to read a product review notice for a decision that touches their revenue. Other wind-downs have arrived with more of an explanation: Blast's closure followed a collapse in deposits and revenue on that network.

Binance said the English version of the announcement takes precedence if translations conflict on account requirements, settlements or deadlines. If your rigs are still pointed at Binance Pool, the date to work with is Nov. 10, and the record of what you earned disappears on Nov. 24.
