Top 3 Upcoming Projects in the Sui Ecosystem

Despite a recent Cetus hack, the Sui ecosystem keeps growing, attracting projects and dApps on its L1 blockchain.

Top 3 Upcoming Projects in the Sui Ecosystem

Today, we’re going through the top 3 promising projects that are launching on Sui soon.

Airdrop opportunities, probably. We will cover airdrop opportunities (if any) in a separate post. Let’s explore some important announcements from the Sui ecosystem.

1. Native

Website: https://www.gonative.cc/

In 2025, Sui’s TVL has increased steadily. Much of it is due to its focus on BTCFi. As of early May 2025, Sui’s $BTC TVL alone surpassed $200 million, an amazing milestone for an L1. By June, BTC products formed 10% of Sui’s TVL. This means Sui is becoming a great chain to enter DeFi with Bitcoin.

Leveraging on this trend, Native enables its users to earn yield from $BTC easily and securely on Sui. On top of that, Native makes $BTC interoperable on Sui without any bridges. Similarly, users can buy $nBTC (backed 1:1 with $BTC) without bridging, middlemen, or multi-step processes. This is a refreshing improvement from the usual BTCFi transactions, which are complicated and confusing.

Furthermore, Native is active in Sui’s ecosystem. However, do note that Native has only just launched its testnet. You can explore the Native testnet here: https://byield.gonative.cc/

You may be eligible for a whitelist spot to mint the project’s NFT. This may lead to an airdrop in the future. Right now, an airdrop is not confirmed.

2. Ika

Website: https://ika.xyz/

Ika is the first sub-second Multi-Party Computation (MPC) network, delivering unmatched scalability with the ability to scale to 10,000 signatures per second (TPS) and hundreds of signer nodes. With Ika, users can get Zero-Trust Security; each party’s data remains private while interacting with each other.

Ika provides builders with the flexibility to implement any logic (custody, DeFi, gaming, etc.) across any blockchain, including Bitcoin. All while being decentralized with more signer nodes compared to other MPC solutions.

As of the time of writing, Ika has raised a total of $21 million in funding from partners and VCs such as Sui Foundation, Big Brain Holdings, and DCG, amongst others.

We have covered Ika extensively, featuring 2 airdrop tasks and some pre-mainnet tasks.

3. EDAS (Enso Defi Agent Suite)

Website: https://www.edas.ensofi.xyz/

EDAS is a suite of DeFAI agents built to work autonomously. These agents continuously scan DeFi markets to discover the best yield opportunities and execute strategies on behalf of users.

Although EDAS focuses on multiple chains, it has released Momentum Farm, which optimizes yields through Sui’s DeFi protocols. These include MMT Finance, Suilend, Sanctum, etc.

Lastly, by using the EDAS dApp, you’re eligible to earn EDAS points, which may qualify you for a future airdrop.

Please note that Edas is not a blue-chip Sui ecosystem project like Ika. You can choose not to interact with Edas right now because of security concerns. Never expose your main wallet to such new DeFi platforms.

Conclusion

That’s it for the top 3 most promising Sui projects that’re looking to launch soon! Do note that Sui has a thriving dApp ecosystem. Hence, we aren’t limited to just these 3 projects. There could (and likely will) be more launches in the future as well. As usual, we’ll be keeping a sharp eye out for these, and we’ll be keeping you updated. Cheers!
