Telegram has nearly 1 billion monthly active users. It’s by far the biggest network that no one talks about. You may have noticed that a lot of your favorite projects have shifted group chats from Discord to Telegram.
Without a doubt, many peoples’ first attempt at using crypto will come from Telegram and its related TON Network. It may be the easiest onboarding platform for new crypto users we have today. So today, we look at 4 top potential apps in TON.
1) Tap Swap
TapSwap is a tap-to-earn Telegram app. You do it all on Telegram. And you can tap on various things and earn. TapSwap gamifies sharing and use of codes to make or save money. For example, there is this one of watching a video on 10 Small Business Ideas you can start for under $100 and you can earn 400,000 TAPS for that.

As you can see, it’s similar to airdrop hunting. The point of the game is to increase engagement and community building. There are daily bonuses and it is easy for projects to set up campaigns. Plus, since almost 1 billion people use Telegram, that’s a big potential TAM or total addressable market. Plus, many of those billion don’t use crypto or the TON Network yet. But some will convert, for sure.
It’s a great way to get more engagement, grow a community, and get a more even token distribution throughout that community for decentralization and shared incentives. And it’s super easy. All you do is tap your screen. Have you tried TON or any of Telegram’s crypto ecosystem yet? Let us know in the comments below
2) Hamster Kombat
If you’ve been following games and/or TON recently, then you probably have heard of Hamster Kombat. In the game, it is like you are running your own Tier 1 crypto exchange. So your job is to make the right decisions to help the business grow. While you do that there are tasks and quests and other airdrop qualifying events.
Right now, you get tokens for completion but the TGE for the game token hasn’t taken place yet. And one of the questions players and followers have is whether will there be a strict 1 to 1 conversion of game points into tokens or not? The game is a great way to learn about crypto and some of the puzzles include trivia questions like “What date did the first Ethereum transaction take place?”

There are lots of different achievements to unlock to earn more tokens. One thing to watch out for is rule changes from the team. It’s hard to look up info about the game on X and not see complaints about changing formats and extending quests to make players play longer for lesser results. So be aware.
That said, they have a HUGE following. And if you believe that the following & the community can make or break a game, then Hamster Kombat is on the road to becoming a success. As we’ve seen with airdrop-driven projects, they can lead to a huge jumpstart for a project or they can be mismanaged and fumbled. Those fumbles often lead to failures. So just know what you are getting into.

3) STON
STON.fi is an AMM DEX for TON that we like. With STON, you can invest in LPs like on many AMMs. A couple of the more popular ones are:
- TON-USDT, which is by far the most popular, and pays ~4.5%.
- NOT-TON paying 22%.
So there are some good deals here if you are already involved in the TON ecosystem or want to get more involved. By the way, did you know that USDT is now issued natively on TON? Yep, it is. As of July this year.

There are 469 pools and 27 farms on STON so you have lots of choices depending on your risk profile. With STON, you can also swap. There are hundreds of coins on offer but they often fall into one of 3 categories:
- Games.
- Memecoins.
- Jetton Coins.
Jetton coins are TON’s ERC-20 equivalent. It’s the general token standard. A quick scroll shows jetton or J versions of
- USDT and USDC.
- DOGE.
- Mantle.
- Wrapped BTC, and more.
One of your favorite projects likely has a Jetton equivalent here on TON. There are staking opportunities as well and if you create your token in TON, you can list it here to sell. STON covers all the important bases for a fast-growing ecosystem like TON.
One last thing, STON supports all the major TON wallets. But the only major wallets that support the TON Network are Safepal and OKX Wallet. If you don’t have those, then you will need a TON native wallet like TON Wallet, TONKeeper, or OpenMask for those wanting a Metamask-like experience.
4) Gram
Staying on the topic of jetton coins on TON, our last pic today is a little bit of a wildcard. We have Gram Coin and its $GRAM token which launched in February. Gram is the first PoW miner jetton coin for TON. Gram has its mining pool so you can mine the token. You can even mine directly from your browser.

At the moment, there is not a lot to this project. But if you believe in mining and in the PoW model, this is a way you can show that support from within TON. $GRAM launched in February at 77/100s of 1 cent. It got as high as 7.1c in late March and has been on a downtrend since. The current price is now below the initial listing price at 47/100s of 1 cent.
Conclusion
STON,fi, Bitget, and DeDust are the places to go if you want to take a flyer on this coin. This one is for the serious risk-takers and degens out there. For the rest of you, there are more conservative options out there.
