US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled more than $1.7 billion in net inflows over Monday and Tuesday, with Monday's $999 million marking the largest single day of 2026 and Tuesday adding another $715 million.

The flow came as Bitcoin cleared the average Bitcoin ETF holder's cost basis for the first time since January. Bloomberg Intelligence analyst James Seyffart put that average entry point at $81,722 per coin. Bitcoin traded around $86,000 on Tuesday and briefly topped $87,000 on Wednesday, per CoinGecko.

How the two days stacked up

Monday's $999 million was a 2026 daily high. Tuesday added $715 million, lifting the two-day total past $1.7 billion.

BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) led Tuesday's intake with $350 million. Fidelity's Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) drew $257 million. Grayscale's Bitcoin Mini Trust pulled $99 million, per Farside Investors data.

Total net assets across the US spot Bitcoin ETFs reached about $111 billion on Tuesday, up 56% from a 2026 low near $71 billion on June 30 and still about 13% below the cycle high of $128 billion set on Jan. 14.

What crossing the cost basis means

Seyffart said on Monday that the average Bitcoin ETF holder was back above water for the first time since January, once BTC pushed through his $81,722 estimate. The figure reflects the average price investors paid through the spot ETF wrappers; crossing back above it means the typical ETF investor is sitting on a paper profit again after months in the red.

Bitcoin was up 1.2% over 24 hours and 13.8% over seven days at the time the figures were published.
