The Berachain Foundation has announced that its long-awaited RFB and Social airdrops are now live

The RFB (Research and Funding Bounty) allocations total 1.69% of Berachain’s supply. The Foundation has distributed them to teams and projects actively building in the ecosystem. The Foundation expects these teams to manage their allocations responsibly across two key categories:
But teams need to toe the line. For example, Mainnet allocations cannot be used for Pool2 rewards (BERA paired with governance tokens) unless specifically approved by governance. Even then, no more than 5% of Mainnet BERA can be used for such rewards. Instead, teams are encouraged to prioritize Proof of Liquidity mechanisms to distribute rewards effectively.
To stay in the Foundation’s good graces, teams should follow a steady, six-month distribution schedule. Rushing to distribute tokens in a short time frame will trigger consequences. This includes blacklisting from future programs.
Teams receiving RFB must document how they deploy their BERA tokens and the results of their efforts. This record-keeping is essential for participating in future Berachain incentive programs. Those who fail to follow the guidelines or submit records will face immediate termination of support and exclusion from future opportunities.
In addition to RFB, the RFC (Research and Funding Community) allocation. This is 0.35% of Berachain’s supply. The Berachain Foundation distributed it to individuals who’ve made significant educational, social, or community contributions. The Foundation encourages contributors to use BERA to grow communities, create content, and promote new apps in the Berachain ecosystem.
The Foundation holds contributors to a high standard. Misusing funds will result in termination and blacklisting. The Testnet allocation (0.31% of total supply) has already been distributed and is separate from the 1.69% RFB allocation.
