Coinbase Offers Free U.S. Bank Accounts Linked to Wallets

Starting now, Coinbase Wallet users can open a U.S. bank account directly in the app, completely free.

This partnership means you no longer need to use separate apps or websites to handle your bank account and wallet.

Payments Made in USDC and Processed on Base

With just a few taps, you can open a bank account, and it will automatically link to your non-custodial Coinbase Wallet. That’s right, all your digital assets and bank funds will work together seamlessly.

Once your bank account is set up, payments will be made in USDC (a stable cryptocurrency) and processed on Base, Coinbase’s layer 2 blockchain. This makes it easier than ever to manage your money and crypto in one place.

This new feature allows users to handle both their everyday spending and crypto investments all in one app. The convenience of having a U.S. bank account linked to your Coinbase Wallet can also save time and hassle. You can easily make transfers, payments, and manage your funds without having to log into multiple accounts or apps.

More About Coinbase Wallet

PEPE and WIF are now available for trading on Coinbase, allowing users to buy, sell, and hold these tokens directly on the platform. PEPE, inspired by the meme character, and WIF, a newer token, have both gained attention in the crypto world. By adding them to Coinbase, the platform continues to expand its offerings, allowing users to explore a wider range of digital assets.

This move makes it easier for crypto enthusiasts to access and trade these tokens alongside other well-known cryptocurrencies, further enhancing Coinbase’s appeal as a go-to platform for crypto transactions.
