Did we just witness a classic pump and dump crypto market manipulation? We look at 4 altcoins that will come back stronger.
There’s lots of talk of a classic pump and dump scheme going around. In other words, market manipulation. Now the tariffs also come into effect. The stock market lost $1.77 trillion in 24 hours. So, which four altcoins are best positioned to weather this storm?
On 7th March, the White House will host the first ever Crypto Summit. Attendees include founders, CEOs, and crypto investors. Crypto czar David Sacks will host the summit. He’s also the chair of the Working Group on Digital Assets. The members of this working group will also attend.
During or after this summit, we can expect more news on which direction crypto in the US will go. There’s talk of tax exemption on US crypto if held for over a year. Plenty of other positive news could come out of that summit. This could give the crypto market a new boost. We may also find out if a reserve will include altcoins or be Bitcoin-only.
So, when looking for altcoins that can sustain this market, Ripple‘s $XRP is a prime candidate. It’s also in the driver’s seat to be part of a Strategic Crypto Reserve. As President Trump mentioned in his initial post.
However, if there will be such a Strategic Crypto Reserve is an unknown. I still think that a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve is more likely. This also makes more sense. The SBR route also seems to have a lot of support. Among others, Brian Armstrong, Coinbase’s CEO, is in support of this.
On the other hand, it should come as no surprise that Brad Garlinghouse is in favor of an SCR. He’s Ripple’s CEO. He’s been lobbying heavily for such a Strategic Crypto Reserve. Of course, it goes without saying that, according to him, $XRP should be part of such an SCR.
Ripple and $XRP also have many other things going for themselves. Like the end of the long-lasting SEC lawsuit. Garlinghouse will also be at the 7th March White House Crypto Summit.
Their $RLUSD stablecoin is also slowly gaining ground. So, in many ways, $XRP is bound to remain in the spotlight. The current $XRP price of $2.34 is holding up nicely.
The next on this list of altcoins has to be Cardano and $ADA. It performed best yesterday, during the pump. $ADA went up by over 60%. It went from 64 cents to $1.14. Today it’s back at 81 cents. One of the few coins that’s better off after the dump than before the pump. Most coins lost all their gains and a little more.
Charles Hoskinson, also seems to have good connections to the White House. He’s Cardano’s CEO. Check our Cardano video from yesterday. I talked about why $ADA may go to $10. All coins mentioned today may go parabolic if they end up in a Strategic Crypto Reserve.
Like Ripple, Cardano also has plenty of other things going on. It has strong fundamentals with a strong team to back this up. For example, recently, Cardano became the most decentralized chain when it added governance.
Now it’s also adding privacy with its Midnight launch. This will go hand in hand with a massive airdrop. As a result, the Midnight token can become the biggest ecosystem coin.

The Sui Network ($SUI) is another token that deserves to be in today’s list. Check out my Top Sui Ecosystem video from only a few days ago. Here’s the link. Sui managed to stay on the front pages since September last year. Like most altcoins, its price action is not that great, but to no fault of its own.
During the recent pump, it came back strong, as always. However, today it’s down more than before the pump. The current $SUI price is $2.40. That’s a great entry point. $SUI is also a US made coin, so who knows, if there is a Strategic Crypto Reserve, don’t be surprised if $SUI is part of it.
As you may know, Walrus is launching soon as well. This is Sui’s storage platform. With Walrus together, Sui is about to launch a game changing video meeting app.
Sui is also emphasizing its gaming side. Spearheaded by the unique SuiPLay0X1. This is the first handheld Web3 gaming device. Keep an eye out for the gaming side of Sui. There’s much more brewing there. Exciting games and platforms are coming your way.
And with Ondo Finance ($ONDO) we’re in one of the hottest crypto sectors, RWA. Trump’s DeFi platform World Liberty Financial (WLFI) bought for $470k worth of $ONDO. WLFI didn’t buy that many different tokens, but $ONDO is one of them. During the Ondo Summit earlier last month, Donald Trump Jr. was a speaker.
Today, Ondo Finance broke the $1 billion barrier in TVL. It has recently been on fire. Furthermore, Patrick McHenry joined Ondo Finance as Vice Chairman of the advisory board. He is the former Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee. He’s also a key architect of US financial policy. That’s a big move for Ondo.
Ondo Finance also attracts interest from major institutional players. For example, Ondo Finance takes part in BlackRock’s Buidl fund. That’s about as big as you can get with institutions. Ondo also recently partnered with Mastercard.
Ondo Finance works with Short-Term US Government Treasuries Fund, like $OUSG and $USDY. However, Ondo also offers retail access to its services. You can also find Ondo in the Sui ecosystem, with Navi Protocol.
At the current $ONDO price of 92 cents, it’s a steal.

President Trump has announced a Crypto Strategic Reserve consisting of Bitcoin and other top cryptocurrencies. This is consistent with his week-one E.O. 14178. President Trump is keeping his promise to make the U.S. the “Crypto Capital of the World.” More to come at the Summit.
