Binance Launches Newton Protocol (NEWT) HODLer Airdrop

This is the 24th project in the program, giving Binance users a new way to earn by holding BNB.

Newton Protocol is a decentralized platform for secure, verifiable onchain automation, built by the Magic Newton Foundation with support from Magic Labs. It uses trusted execution environments (TEEs) and zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs) to enable trusted financial automation.

How to Earn NEWT with Binance HODLer Airdrops

The HODLer Airdrop rewards Binance users who subscribed their BNB to Simple Earn or On-Chain Yields products. This is between June 14 and June 17, 2025. These flexible or locked subscription products allow users to earn interest on their crypto holdings while automatically qualifying for token airdrops, like the NEWT distribution.

Unlike active farming or staking strategies, HODLer Airdrops reward users retroactively based on snapshots of their BNB balances taken multiple times per hour. Binance calculates each user’s share based on the average BNB held during the snapshot periods. For example, if you had BNB in Simple Earn from June 14 to 17, you will receive a share of 12.5 million NEWT tokens allocated for this airdrop. That is approximately 1.25% of Newton Protocol’s total supply.

NEWT tokens will be distributed directly to users’ Spot Accounts before trading opens. Binance plans to list NEWT for trading starting June 24, 2025. Against popular pairs like USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY.

Why Newton Protocol Matters and What’s Next

Newton Protocol aims to enhance blockchain’s capabilities by integrating AI-powered trading and a developer marketplace, reflecting a rising trend in blending AI with decentralized finance. The project’s total token supply is capped at 1 billion NEWT, with an initial circulating supply of 215 million tokens on launch.

The NEWT token powers staking, permissions, and incentives, aligning users with protocol integrity while supporting transparency and security. Deployed as an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, NEWT is central to network participation and governance. Users may be eligible for airdrops if they engaged with the protocol or community before key dates in 2024 and 2025, or used select partner wallets linked to Magic Labs.
