Tokenizing traditional assets is growing fast, but trading regulated U.S. securities across blockchains still faces compliance and liquidity hurdles.
This week, the company introduced the Dinari Financial Network, a purpose-built blockchain layer powered by Avalanche. The network is not designed for retail speculation. Instead, it serves as the infrastructure rails for regulated tokenized markets.
Dinari’s flagship product, dShares, allows users to hold tokenized versions of U.S. equities on more than five chains, including Base, Arbitrum, and Plume, with Solana support on the way. As adoption grows, so does a technical problem. Liquidity for these assets becomes scattered across different blockchains.
The Dinari Financial Network tackles this by acting as a unifying layer one (L1) that connects these ecosystems. Liquidity from multiple chains is coordinated through the network. This allows for consistent pricing and smooth settlement no matter where the trade originates.
This approach is similar to how traditional clearinghouses operate in legacy finance, but adapted for decentralized markets. Governance of the network is handled by a consortium of industry players with real-world market infrastructure experience, including validators like Gemini, BitGo, and VanEck.
While many blockchains focus on speed or user adoption, few can meet the regulatory demands of U.S. securities markets. Compliance requirements such as Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) controls, and full auditability are often left to third parties. Dinari has embedded these safeguards into the network itself.
By leveraging Avalanche’s architecture, the Dinari Financial Network can maintain these controls while remaining interoperable with other ecosystems. Each partner chain contributes specific expertise in custody, compliance, and operations, ensuring that tokenized securities remain secure and legally compliant from issuance through settlement.
