FTX, the collapsed crypto exchange that shook the market in 2022, is returning over $5 billion in stablecoins to users in its second round of distributions.

Bitcoin and Ethereum traded slightly lower on August 9, while Solana led major altcoins higher. Traders are also watching the CLARITY Act and upcoming U.S. CPI data for fresh market direction.

The CLARITY Act is heading toward a September Senate vote, putting Coinbase and Circle stocks in focus as investors assess the impact of potential U.S. crypto rules.

Bitcoin moved above $65,000 as weaker U.S. jobs data reduced expectations of a September Fed rate hike. MSTR also topped $100, while Pi Network led altcoin gains.
