Ripple is raising the bar with its Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin by leveraging Chainlink's trusted pricing data standard
According to its blog post, Chainlink’s battle-tested infrastructure has secured over $18 trillion in transaction value. It now provides RLUSD’s ecosystem with secure, verifiable price data. For DeFi developers, this means easy integration of RLUSD into smart contracts. This makes it a reliable choice for managing risks and building decentralized applications.
“Reliable and transparent pricing is critical for RLUSD’s utility in decentralized markets,” said Jack McDonald, Ripple’s SVP of Stablecoin. “By adopting the Chainlink standard, we bring trusted data onchain, ensuring RLUSD can scale effectively across institutional and DeFi ecosystems.”
RLUSD operates on both the XRP Ledger (XRPL) and Ethereum blockchains, offering seamless compatibility with smart contract platforms. Chainlink addresses this head-on, providing the tools needed to build trust and accelerate adoption.
