Grayscale has announced the launch of two new products on the SuiNetwork. The Grayscale DeepBook Trust ($DEEP) and the Grayscale Walrus Trust ($WAL). $DEEP focuses on providing liquidity for decentralized finance. Meanwhile, $WAL supports decentralized data storage and management. Launching both products on Sui shows Grayscale’s interest in infrastructure projects. These are projects it believes could be the pillar of the next cycle of crypto adoption.
The DeepBook protocol acts as a central limit order book. This is similar to what’s used in traditional finance. However, it is fully on-chain and open source. The goal of this product is to deliver fast, transparent trading for institutions and developers.
Walrus, on the other hand, focuses on managing large amounts of data on-chain. This includes data from gaming applications and social networks.
Choosing Sui supports a growing perception about the network. Institutional players see the network as safe, reliable infrastructure to launch services that bridge mainstream finance and blockchain technology.
