1. Theta Network Hard Fork
Decentralized video streaming platform, Theta Network, has released details of its upcoming hard fork. It is expected to take place at block height 14526120. Notably, this block height will take place on March 14th, 2022, at about 12 noon (PT).
Therefore, the hard fork will reduce the validator staking threshold from 2 million THETA tokens to 200,000 THETA. Therefore, resulting in more users being able to operate Validator Nodes (VNs). This, in turn, results in a more decentralized network for Theta.

2. Time Raiders IDO on BinStarter and EnjinStarter
The much-anticipated Time Raiders IDO is set to go live on top launchpad platforms BinStarter and EnjinStarter. The IDO will take place on March 17th, 2022. To take part in the IDO on Enjinstarter, interested persons need to register for the whitelist.

3. Fungie DAO Caramel Token Project Launch
Fungie DAO, a BSC-based micro-cap DeFi platform, releases plans to launch project Caramel. Notably, the Caramel token is also based on Binance Smart Chain (BSC). Also, is a special token focused on helping stray animals globally.
Moreover, on March 14th, 2022, Caramel will go live on Fungie DAO Launchpad. Interestingly, its whitelist took place on March 11, 2022.

4. Harmony to Eliminate Its Chrome Extension Wallet
Open-source, Layer-1, EVM-compatible blockchain Harmony (ONE) will no longer support chrome extension. Starting March 15th, 2022, the chrome extension Harmony wallet will no longer be supported. In line with this, Harmony has asked its users to move to the Metamask wallet. As this will be the only supported wallet on Harmony.
Also, the process to migrate is quite easy and interested persons can also now stake ONE token using Metamask wallet.

On the other hand, while Metamask is currently the prescribed wallet by Harmony, the move to Metamask is not final. Therefore, the layer 1 blockchain is focused on launching its own 1Wallet. Once online 1Wallet will be the custodial wallet for the Harmony ecosystem.
